    Watch 'Mein Kampf: The Secrets of Adolf Hitler's Book of Evil' here: • Mein Kampf: The Secret...
    On the 1st August 1936, 100,000 spectators watched as Hitler and the Olympic delegates arrived at the Olympic opening ceremony in Berlin. The Olympic flags hung cheerfully side-by-side banners bearing the Nazi swastika. With the help of specialists and images from Léni Riefenstahl’s 1938 film, ‘Olympia’, we see what really went on behind the scenes and investigate the secret negotiations and compromises made by the International Olympic Committee to bring the Olympics to Berlin.

    Fun fact: Adolf "Adi" Dassler, who with his brother Rudolf "Rudi" Dassler owned the small Dassler athletic shoe company, traveled from his hometown to the Olympic Village to hand over a suitcase full of the company's latest athletic shoes to American Jesse Owens, who was admired for his accomplishments by German sports lovers. Owens won his events wearing Dassler shoes.
    Several years later Adolf and his brother fell out with each other and split the company into two. Adolf chose his new company's name by combining his nickname with the first 3 letters of his surname: Adi + Das = Adidas. His brother didn't follow suit but named his new company Puma.

      You are 1000000000% SPOT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe how eager we are in lending our support to such a tyrannical regime that is hell bent on the USA's demise. I mean we do know and all you have to do is follow the $ and 9.8/10 you'll get your answer....On another note I have heard multiple interviews from persons who fled North Korea and China and they are extremely worried because they are seeing the signs of our own Govt following the same paths.....It's not me saying it, I'm just listening to their speeches.....China has had a social scoring system in place for awhile whereby the Govt monitors people's behavior and if they don't fall in line with how their govt wants them to act they are given poor scores which affects their abilities to get a bank account, take loans, attend schools, etc etc....Now that would never happen in the USA , right....? Big Tech is now boasting that they are giving scores to businesses who don't adhere to how the Govt wants them to act....Bad score then there are serious ramifications.....This isn't a secret and is right there out I the open so It's not part of any "secret" operations--quite the contrary....Right there for anyone to see.......millions of Americans loving every second of it and demanding more shaming and more monitoring of businesses and citizens...It's really quite astonishing............

    The British set up concentration camps during the Boor war to contains the anti-British elements in South Africa. Also, the Austro-Fascists (Catholic right) set up a concentration camp in Austria to house the social democrats and labor leaders with trial. So, there were concentration camps before Dachau. However, they just didn't get to the level of human indecency of the 3rd Reich ones.

The Germans invaded the Rhineland the same year and the French and British looked the other way. How much of a influence were the Olympics to appeasment? Plus it wouldn't be good diplomatically to cancel the Olympics on short notice with the investment.

In going through my great-uncle's things (while he was alive) I found a box that contained photos and travel memorabilia from their trip in the summer of '36. Olympic pins, brochures, travel guides from Berlin. They returned to the USA on the Queen Mary. They kept cruise memorabilia as well. A directory of guests, shows that Henry Ford and Jesse Owens returned on the Queen Mary on the same trip. Incredible find that had put into albums.

The United Kingdom (and quite literally the flag if you layer them on top of each other) is made up of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (their flag doesn’t contribute to the Union flag) and Northern Ireland (good luck finding the St Patrick’s Saltire emoji). England alone wasn’t at war with Germany, the whole of the United Kingdom was at war.

      I am only man to walk out with St George flag and name English as a pro boxer and born in Salford hope hospital! Had 3 lose! But if you want to be all patriotic with English country flag and name English I am only one!

      Mike English box rec! In truth it's only reason I got in to boxing! Had my st George flag towels taken of me being told they were racist! Told them to take my name of me English is that racist! Told them wot would you do if i walked out with St George flag and name English in Salford where i was born! I did everything i could to be a pro boxer! Never had no amurter! Came from unlicensed and fighting ex pros some British champions! In end turned pro! Got mess about! But my last pro fight was in Salford and everything I wanted to do I did with my name English and English flag! St George! So moral victory! In Jewish newspaper's now on my dream of star of David and tattoo and being Jewish as my mother side was Jewish and my father side was Irish and Scottish his dad William English was from kilkenny Ireland.

    Thank you for creating, editing and sharing this video. If I may make a suggestion? Instead of subtitles, do you think you can pursue the idea of voice overs in English? The wording was difficult to read since it was the color white and it faded into most of the video. Thanks again!

    43:25 There was no "final punch". Germany finished number one in number of golds and in total medals. An inconvenient fact conveniently overlooked.

    You keep saying Germany was racist they weren’t any different than any other country remember the Americans were the founders of eugenics

    • @FreeDocumentaryHistory
      @FreeDocumentaryHistory  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The germans were quite different from other racists in that they tried to exterminate an entire people through industrialized mass murder. The concept of eugenics has been around since ancient Greece. Plato suggeseted "selective breeding" to form a "guardian class" in 400 BC.

    G.O.A.T. status achieved
