I’m so lucky my cat and dog behave themselves around my guinea pigs or else I would’ve needed to spend an extra 100 nearly to get the lid. My wallet was already crying when I got the 6x2 but it’s 100% gonna be worth it because it’s so big!
We are glad you are enjoying our products! 😊 Thank you for also supporting our shop, as your order supports the lively hood of our workers. For this 6x2 cage with a loft/ramp as shown in the video, it would cost an additional £27 for a lid addition. We hope your piggies love their new cage! 🥰
I love c&c cages and plan to build one. Can you make a Video to Show how i could build a bigger cage wideside? 6×3 or maybe 6×4? Is it passable to connect the sheets then? And is it necessary to glue them together that there will be no leaks?
Hello! In the case of a 6x4, just put 4 3x2 sheets next to each other with each corner closed. No leaks! For a 6x3, you would need to overlay them as explained in our 5x2 videos. Still no glue required.
Hello Savannah, at the end of the video we show how to make the full lid. We recommend to have only a 4x2 lid with 4 grids fixed on the side to make it more sturdy. Of course you can try to have a full 6x2 lid opening up!
Hey there! I wanted to make sure I got the correct size fleece liners for this? I currently have the 5x2 and loft liners in my cart. Can you tell me if that’s the correct one to use? Thanks! ❤
Thank you for your comment. In order to remain eco-friendly, we have decided against printing any assembly instructions. We have uploaded assembly videos of our cages on our TH-cam channel Kavee.
You may add an extra ramp to this cage if you wish! We offer loft/ramp kit add-ons on our official website: kaveecage.co.uk/collections/supplies-to-build-make-modify-c-c-cage-guinea-pigs/products/loft-ramp-coroplast-grids-guinea-pig

Agreed, it was an absolute nightmare to put together, we completely ruined the panels assembling it, loads of the paint chipping off, connectors snapping, it falls apart all the time..piece of crap
@Sarah Hazelden Lololololol I've had mine for over 2 years and apart from it coming apart fairly easy, have had no problems at all. It takes a minute to slot the grids back in the connectors. How tf did you 'ruin the panels assembling it'? I'm seriously asking. It was a bit of faff putting it all together but never broke anything and I'm clumsy af. Seriously! I can accidently break anything. Which is why I take extra care and don't go into things heavy handed. You have to be careful with things. But with this world's throwaway culture, people just don't tend to give a fuck.
The dimensions of this setup is: 82,7 x 27,6 x 13,8 inches or (2.10 x 0.70 x 0.35 m). More information on this setup is available at kaveecage.net/collections/white-c-c-cages-for-guinea-pigs/products/6x2-white-c-c-cage-guinea-pig-loft-ramp
The connectors are useless and comes undone with the slightest pulling, pushing or bumping. The two plastic sheets not being folded in the middle makes the entire bottom of the cage shift. I had to use shipping tape to keep them together. If you fold both bottoms, then there is a wall running through the middle of the cage. I am so unbelievably angry right now that I ever bought these cages!!!! I'm gonna have to zip tie every connection so the cages stay together.
We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your recent order. We appreciate your feedback. The grids should not pop out of the connectors, we would be more than happy to help! If you kindly email our customer service team at customercare@kaveecage.co.uk with some photographs of the assembly, we would be happy to assist! When assembling the cage, for a snug fit, the connectors require a bit of force to "snap" into place.
My guinea pig loves it❤❤
Glad to hear that ❤️
Thank you so much for showing me the loft! I just placed my order for that cage and my piggies will be so happy for a new cage! ❤️

Can you make the lid 6x2 the same way? Just have it all lift up?

This is our 6x2 cage, you would need two 3x2 liners to fit this side cage, alongside a loft liner which fits in all lofts 🐹

hey where can I find the small houses shown in the video on your website?
The wooden houses we display have been found at a local shop. Similar ones can be found through online shops such as Etsy 😊
I’m getting 2 guini pigs but would this be big enough for 4 in the future x
Thank you for your question! Our 6x2 C&C cage offers enough living space for up to 4 guinea pigs.

All you have to do is put the grids in the connectors, doesn’t get any easier?
