Pedro seems so friendly to her. The girls aren’t too sure but it looks like they will come around. Too funny the way ( not sure of her name) was protecting her food when the little girl tried to get some. ❤great video!!!

I love how the big piggies in the beginning were like "Hey how's it going" and walked past like they already knew her, then a second later they're like "Wait a minute..." 😂 so cute!
Thank you so much for your videos, they are very well put together, informative and enjoyable. My boyfriend and I just got our first piggies this month and one of them had never bonded before and the other one had lost his buddy two weeks before. We put them is a playpen on Monday to meet for the first time and they had mild fights for about two hours but during the time would be perfectly okay with eating next to each other. On Tuesday morning for floor time about the first 10 minutes of it they were mounting, butt sniffing and light nips as well as growing from the younger one. Sadly they are not about to fully be in the same cage yet but we are going to take it slowly and step by step. They each have a Midwest cage from OzBow.
Guinea pigs are social creatures, I think the best way to introduce them to other guinea pigs is as babies because they all seem to love babies and get excited

I've just achieved my first bonding, my two boys have lived side by side for a whole year and I took the plunge, and it went really well. They are so happy running round together, I wish I had been brave enough to do it sooner. Thank you for your wonderful videos. Your new fur baby is adorable.

They were fine for around 4/5 days, then I noticed one was getting very withdrawn and quiet and he had a bite on his bum, I separated them after this and they are both happy again, popcorning and loving life and food. I followed advice from our local rescue to start the bonding by sitting quietly with both of them on my knee, together for 15 minutes, stroking one after the other. If this goes without hitch then proceed to a clean space play pen and monitor them for 3 hours, plenty of hay and no hidies or boxes, regularly give veggies to show them that this is a nice situation. Then if they are OK after 3 hours in a none territorial place then move them to a thoroughly clean cage and monitor for another 3 hours. Watching TH-cam has helped me learn and understand guinea pigs loads more than any books but I highly recommend asking advice from rescue volunteers and managers, because they are the ones who have the knowledge. Good luck, and never feel you have failed, some piggies are living their best lives side by side with loving contact from their humans xxxx

Thank you 😄 the food bowl is from WCF (West Country Farms), its a chain but I don't think they have many shops and they are a bit random with what they have in stock haha. Hopefully you can find the same one elsewhere though 😊
The baby is far too cute, I think at some time she will be the masteress of her kingdom! It always shocks me how they come into the world looking so perfectly looking fully formed, they are prey animals so I suppose Mother Nature sorted this so the babies can run super fast! ❤️

Hello! How did you feed your baby guinea pig alfalfa hay with the other adult guinea pigs in the same house? I recently brought in a new baby guinea pig to live with my 2 adult piggies but am still struggling with how to feed the baby alfalfa hay as much as possible.
I have 2 Guinea pig, one of them recently went to the vet and might be there for up to a month, when she comes back home do think think they will have to be reintroduced or will they remember each other

So Cute! We doubt about buying a new baby gineau pig. We already have 2 (very active) gineau pigs, they are almost 2 years old. Our oldest Guinea pig died a couple weeks ago. Can we put the new baby gineau pig in the cage by the 2 older gineau pigs the first day we got her? And is it a good idea to get a new baby guinea pig when you have two older ones after al? Hope you can give us some advice 🐹

We just tried to bond 2 young boars, 6 months old and big failure. We followed all the rules of bonding and they literally hate each other. Nasty fights, teeth chattering etc. I wish we could house them together…..

I love your video so much I discovered your channel whenever I got my guinea pigs however I live in a country where we don’t have adoption centers for guinea pigs and guinea pigs aren’t famous in our country so if I were to go to a pet store it would be one out of 100 that would’ve had guinea pigs anyways I got 2 because as I got from your videos better To get two or more piggies so I got two and they made the same mistake you said they would make they told me that both are females turned out to be a male and the other turned out to be a female as well as the female is pregnant they told us the female was three months old turns out she’s 10 months old they told us the boy was one month old or should I say the girl turns out it was three months old I now know how to take care of my piggies because of your videos my female piggy still hasn’t given birth but I would really really appreciate if you made a video about how to take care of a pregnant Piggy if you’ve ever experienced that thank you so much and please keep doing what you’re doing because it’s amazing

I am curious why do you fully set up the bonding cage right off the bat? I always heard its better to start with an empty cage so you can stop the crazy fights that might happen then start adding food then hideys in as the bond seems to be going better?
I wonder if it might be better to put the new pig in the pen first, so she could look around (for escape routes, just in case) and leave her scent all over the fleece and then the others join?
