I always thought that demon imps stall way better with lower cost. My favourite pattern is to have 1 max, with 2 lvl 1s. Of course, it's a little more expensive, but it feels more fun to watch all the explosions
A lot of these towers almost blend into the other towers roles, archer/mage/artillery/barracks/support. The ballista may be the weakest archer, but it has hints of artillery in it. The brewmaster actually has hints of not only artillery but also support and barracks.
Ballista is by no means the weakest archer. That role easily goes to Sentinels, although you may honestly consider them an artillery tower with how they're better at dealing low AoE damage rather than hitting single targets. Anyways, ballista has insane damage especially with its first ability upgrade.

Why do you have Arborean emissary so low? The damage increase they add is insanely valuable. They increase the damage enemies take by 20%/30%/40%/50% more damage, depending on the tier.
According to his own video, 2 royal archers + 1 aborian emmesarry is more gold efficient than 3 royal archers. Also idk why he rates royal archers so low either, they are one of the towers that offer the most dmg for your buck in the game.
In my deep dive I explain you need at least 2 other towers attacking perfectly to make him worth and more like 3 or 4. So late game only useful sometimes tower. Not a fan personally. I don't think he's actually unusable but I dont think he's worth a tower slot.
Arboreal emmisary 2.5. That is criminal. In the early game, even at lv 1, it increase dps of your tower by 20% for just 100 gold. And it just get better as the game goes on. The tower also has good range for its debuffing capabilities. You sir have the hottest takes ever(hell you even rate archer at 4/10 and grim wraith at 5 despite both tower's versatility).
@@zombieboyxxMate, the tower cost only 100 gold(at level 1). Which means it only needs other towers that cost 500 gold or more for the 20% buff alone to be worth it(a single tier 4 tower is good enough to achieve that). It seems you and SJB have failed basic understanding of gold efficiency.
@@zombieboyxx At max rank it is +50% damage and has a huge range. The targeting also acts a bit like Ranger Hideout with poisoned arrows in that it tries to tag every enemy at least once. Also has an aoe stun ability which is super strong combined with Ballistas. Don't even need barracks for most maps.
Has to say, the phamton barracks would trivial the final boss - just get one lv1 and use it to swap the other towers around. It just acts as a cheap tower teleporter.
Ok, so dune sentinels have lower damage than royal archers when enemies not being packed. Being worse than royall arches against armor, worse than royal archers to kill the flying tanky eye. Has a 2nd skill which you don't buy when getting the core gold farm, also very hard to earn gold with its core skill. Unless you found some cheese gold strats, I don't understand why Royal archers get a 4 while dune sentinels get an 8.5. Please explain.
@@SJB2 In practice, nobody is stupid enough to fully max out all tower's abilities, they only max out one main ability. Your review is based on too much favoritism and bias. It would be better if you played each tower for each playthrough on max difficulty repeatedly to know what metric is needed for each stage, each tower, and each hero. Not only that, you spent way too little time with your least-used towers/heroes to know better. As for your reviews, they're too scuffed with little to no dedication. As I mentioned before in your Tricannon review, you should've spent more time teaching other players how to use other tower options optimally, even if those are not up your street. Not just review on levels like Grimmsburg in Origins, or Otil in Vengeance, for instance, both of which are just specific levels are just testing levels without going actual gameplay. Overall, your review is just a first impression. And you need to open yourself into more different playstyle if you want to do a dedicated review. This is my honest opinion about you, and I try not to be a jerk.

The question is ... Rebels or Shadow archers? I always go for shadow archers due to the prominent flying enemies, but the rebels are the tankiest reinforcement in all KR games.

I want to like Kingdom Rush. I like playing on mobile, but I can't pay for all the heroes/towers. I have other games I'd rather play when I'm at my computer, but that's the only place I have full access to the game. To me they set themselves up for failure, and I regret buying all the KR games on Steam recently.
While I do like some of your ratings, I think some towers are better then others. Firstly, the dwarves flamethrower is not an 8.5, it feels too weak and doesn’t do enough damage for its slow fire rate. The dune sentinels are not good, they are weak, and the royal archers are the same, so I’mnot sure why the dune sentinels are more than double the rating of them. The necromancer, is, ok, but his skeletons end up just dying so quickly that I rarely ever see him have more than 2 skeletons at once. The Eldritch channeler is just as good as the arcane wizard, if not better, because his chain ability is so overpowered, and it decimates groups of high health enemies, Also, his beam stays on enemies when they leave his range, so he doesn’t just cancel his beam for all the little fast enemies that speed past him, he actually kills them, also his attacks slow, so that doesn’t happen very often anyways. The arborean emissary deserves at least a 3, but he still isn’t that good in my opinion either.
I personally think that Arborean Emissary is a Best support tower but not a full burst dps tower. it has a on hit attack magic shred resistant on any lvl a good heal for troops and a Descent crowd control.
@bankai4735 depends on the time and what towers. The cheapest towers are 3 dollars and the most expensive ones are 7. Same with heroes. If you are on mobile you could buy some of the good heros and towers and save on money compared to buying the Steam version. also if you are on mobile and want to buy towers or heroes, just buy anya for 3 dollars as she is the third best hero. And if you want a tower, get necro for 5 dollars. That would be 14 dollars instead of 20, and the rest of the stuff isn't really worth it. Ofc if you live outside of the US in a country where heros cost a lot more... just play a cracked version at that point.
nah paladins deserve more they're the only barrack that has 3 blockers and they're very tough

it's basic math, 20% is 1/5th of a tower strength so you need 5 towers for it to be as strong as one tower 😂

Mostly for the gold. If you get a maxed dune sentinel at the start of the game it can make a ton of money while still doing respectable damage.
The abilities. Eagle is absolute garb. Gold production and grouped damage on dune sentinels. Count me in! Plus archers are boring.
