Wanna know what's more amazing? He's singing without a literal stomach! That's why you'll notice he takes large breaths and using other parts of his body to support his singing. His stomach had to be removed because of a hereditary cancer gene. It's so amazing he can still sing. You can find a video of the whole course of his cancer treatment on his TH-cam channel. Stan has a very amazing life story as well, and how he was able to walk in a different course than the one he was raised up on. So that's why he's very special to us in NZ.
He’s a living testimony and you can hear it on his voice that God has blessed him surviving that Cancer. I’ve seen 9 Amazing Grace Reactions and this song has the most comments about his ability to sing after getting his stomach removed. Thank you Jess for this one again..Stay blessed.❤🎉
I love this guy, he has an AWESOME VOICE!! I loved him since I heard his voice, more power to him!! Love the Levites, great harmonizing, all is great!!
I'm so grateful I found your channel. I'm a Maori from NZ and am hella impressed not just with your reactions but your attitude, charisma, honesty and open mindedness ❤
The Levities are one of the 12 tribes of Israel referenced in the Old Testament of the Bible. . They assisted the priests in worship in the temple. In the Black church, the word is used as a honorific and encouragement and refers to those who minister and provide the highest level of praise and worship to God through song.

Oh Bel thanks for the great reaction. Shout out to the backing band & The Levites. But Stan Walker just takes us all on such a enriching journey. This is his song of gratitude. Having survived having to have his stomach removed due to cancer. I love the addition of 'I Surrender' in this. Love from Australia
Please react to Stan's latest called I Am. Actually a song written and videoed by Stan for the movie Origin which premiered in LA and New York a week ago. The director of the movie allowed Stan to incorporate the song with our native language Maori. Hope to see your reaction soon.
Hey Bel. I appreciate what you are doing for indigenous peoples. Im maori like stan and just want to extend my hand out to you here in Brisbane Australia. Would love to connect you to people here too.
Hey my friend - glad to be here! Anything I can do to help drive the message 🙏 My brother said Brisbane was gorgeous! I’ll make it down one day for sure. Much love from West Canada! Who you wanna see next?
If you ever react to Stan Walker bigger or tua it would be dope to do in in the same video as one is in English and one is in native tongue and I’ve never seen anyone react to both one after the other... make sure they are the live with the levites versions lol

You should look into New Zealands singers, they're really a different bread of singers. They are all born with amazing pipes.
The band is the Levites and the backup singers are the Standard. I agree with the other commenters on songs to listen to. His song, Aotearoa sung in Māori is beautiful ! I haven’t heard a song of his that I didn’t love
Great reaction, I just subbed. I was a little annoyed at the pauses for microphone talk at first, but now I appreciate your sharing knowledge of different hardware and how they differ in capturing vocals and instruments. I use a lot of IRS in my guitar processing and the mic type and placement really does shape the sound massively. Thanks for teaching.
Thanks for giving me a chance!!! Lemme know if you wanna get in to anything real nerdy lol And is that impulse response systems? Would love to have a conversation somewhere about tones and what you’re going for!
Your reactions are so genuine and show the love you have for music and production. It’s awesome watching someone react to and love Stan’s music as much as me haha
so so good to see and hear from a professional who's passionate about the technical side but also appreciates the vocalists and lead Stan. Seeing you get captured by it all was a pleasure to watch bro. I've watched these guys live and it was incredible. If you haven't already, I'd love to hear your take on 'Shepherd's Reign', a song called 'Aiga', they're from the same city as these guys, also Polynesian, but probably not what you're expecting.
Hi Jess great explanation on the Bvs and the musician’s we’re excellent less is more plus the sax and trumpet we’re very suttee even until right at the end good luck with channel wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year look forward to more Stan Video’s 🙏🔥🥃
Love your reactions, especially because you not only give a sound engineer’s POV (which is your specialty), but you also give reactions from a performer and musician POV - which is also you! Great job! Subscribed! I’d love to see a reaction from you on Michael Pangilinan’s cover of Rainbow on the Wish 107.5 Bus.
Ahhh I appreciate you so much!! Writing this request down because of this fantastic comment lol I fly home today and will start filming again tomorrow!!
Make your reviews about the beautiful talented artists rather than the damn microphones... honestly... Stan is an incredibly talented artist from Aotearoa (New Zealand) and is so humble in all he does. The most authentic voice from our country
I love hearing about the different microphones, and he constantly praises the artists. I love his reaction videos and all the extra information he gives us.
Soulful and dripping with gospel…if you weren’t religious before, you will be after this… After listening to this I felt the need to go to church and ask for forgiveness, but I don’t know what for😂😂😂😂
After listening to some of the stan walker and the levites performances I had to insert stan into my top 10 male vocalists.

Stan actually wrote this version when he was 15. Amazing

So much talent within the Polynesian community as Stan and his back up singers especially when most are self taught including Stan.

Pronounced the Lee-vites (long i), rhymes with tight. They are the priests in the old testament....started with Moses and his brother Aaron.
Levites pronounced as
LE Lee, VITES as in invites 😊

'Levits" are pronouced "Livets" 👍
Soulful and dripping with gospel…if you weren’t religious before, you will be after this…
After listening to this I felt the need to go to church and ask for forgiveness, but I don’t know what for😂😂😂😂
Pronounced Levites ( Lee- vites as in bytes or sites) at least that’s how I learnt it in church 😂😂😂
Levites is pronounced Lee-Vites ( vite as in bite ) . Levites are the priesthood from the Old Testament.
