Wonderful examples here, Mie! You've followed the structure perfectly. And great question. "This is a little weird but what about if we..." is definitely another alternative we can use. I would say it's more casual, so it's great to use with people you know well, including colleagues.

I listen to your videos and if I do not understand a word I can repeat it but when I am out talking to people and listening them I cannot understand them and I cannot tell them every time to repeat.
