worked on a service end of indian dealer for last 4 years. challengers are NO joke, some how ended up with a 23 RG. once these challengers get more aftermarket support pop off making the switch. never met a customer who didnt love them
@14:20 the Sawicki exhaust that is on @baggerandbs Challenger is their standard mid-length system... NOT the Lloydz Sawicki that Lloyd Greer designed. You can easily spot the difference between the two exhaust by the rear primary shape and size. The Lloydz Sawicki mid-length 2:1 has stepped primaries, and a wider bend than they standard Sawicki 2:1 exhaust. I took my Challenger to Lloydz Garage @ Sturgis this year and had their Street Performance cams, CNC port-matched billet intake manifold, Lloydz Sawicki 2:1 exhaust, and custom tune installed. Bike made 140hp and 130trq... she really moves out!
Thanks, guys, for all the info. I'm taking notes on your suppliers. I really like the 2 into 1 exhaust on baggers. Yours sounds amazing. I really like the comparison with the RG and noting the price difference. I love the RG but what you get with the Challenger for the price and all it's rave reviews, well, I'm the one who has to ride it. Good work.
That bike is beautiful Stage 1 117m8 (air cleaner + exhaust) has the same hp and more tq over that Indian stage 1 I was leaning toward buying an Indian challenger until harley released the new cvo with water cooled heads and vvt!!!!!!! Omg that new cvo is stunning
@@brentbandy3566 New Harley standard is 26,000 117 liquid cooled heads pulls more than my 22 sg st did stock. Also, best looking fairing my opinion and also nicest screen Add a air cleaner se tuner 2-1 sawaki exhaust... You can get the cvo st HighLift cam because the heads have high lift springs stock like my cvo does. cam with se quickie tubes and lifters pushing 125-130 hp 132-136 tq for 30,000 with a epa se tuner with 2 yr unlimited miles warranty Only bummer is you need a rear olins setup 1500 and drop in fronts for 1200 lol all bikes are money pits if you want a sick bike
Yeah work and had hds my whole life. Indian pulled over in FL at Stus Indian as Service manager. My shit is all Hp n torque. We do the Lloydz tunes and sell their cams. You get the billet intake w cams. Man Im telling ya you get 15-20% air from high flow. Even know all indian over cam bike have that Ram air. 80% is pulled from frame into the back bone ingo the intake. We split cases n what even kick ass is hou have a Mikunie oil pump in that motor. No 1/2 step on any part of this bike. Next year bumpin my head to 112ci w pistons. My dude if you thought its fast off the rip 112 heads will having you check your pant for the shizats. Anyway welcome n represent. Richie
Couple things. Lloyd has one cam grind for the Challenger. Multiple for the Thunderstroke and Victory bikes. The 2023 challengers are not tunable. They’re encrypted and only one place has cracked it and it defeats the entire ECM meaning it renders the bike unusable. Good luck with the 23. They’re great bikes if you’re going to keep it stock/factory tuned.
I get Corbin seats and have excellent results. I just got the Corbin Wall for my new Highway King and it's great. I like the mods on the Indian it must be awesome to ride.
I love the Bars, but I would have gone with the Krause adjustables. I love the sound and the suspension. I am going to relook at it before I make my next purchase of a motorcycle. I would still need to change out the rear brake knob to a pedal.
Nice content friend! I sold my 2020 Challenger with $7k in upgrades. Why? I test rode a BMW K1600b. Better comfort and balls to the wall fast! The bike will hang with any stock bike except a 1L Sport bike. Just bad ass!
Funny how the universe works; after i was done shooting my latest video i needed gas so i stopped at the truckstop by the interstate and a new Challenger Elite was there getting gas and the owner asked how i liked my Baja Design lights. Ill admit i hadnt given the Challenger much attention but the Elite really opened up my third eye motorcycle customization window and i haven't quit thinking about it. (Must not thjnk bad thoughts. ) And this amazing episode pops up...i definitely subscribed to his channel too!
What’s up MarvelKid. I’ve been following you for a few years now. Love your videos bro. Quick warning. Don’t spend too much money on this Indian. These bikes are TRASH!!! I had one. Due to you having a TH-cam channel, they’ll definitely treat you better. However, the rest of your followers don’t have the ability to reach out to the public like you. If they’re going to sponsor you, then do your thing. But don’t put money in this thing. This is from a Loyal Viewer.
Nice bike! And everyone says you can’t customize an Indian! Sounds angry! Like the light but it sticks out to far for me, wish it tucked in more and I would have one on my Pursuit.
Props to forever rad, but they name dopped them so much I got tired of hearing it lol. That Challenger is sick asf, though. Edit: we are alike in our love for both companies.
Can’t bring myself to purchase an Indian. There is 1 dealership in my state. It happens to be in the city I live in but only having 1 dealership doesn’t give me peace of mind. I’ll stick with my Harley Davidson as there are 5 dealerships in my state including 1 in my city as well.
@@Marvelkid87 I live in Maine. There is 1 Indian dealership in Augusta where I live and that’s it. The next dealership is in New Hampshire. I can’t bring myself to being at the mercy of 1 dealership. Love that blue challenger tho. Beautiful color! Great video l!
You get an Indian and you don't need a dealership. You gotta be real unlucky to get a lemon, otherwise they're pretty much bulletproof. But still I get what you're saying.
My one dislike is the LP6. Not for the rider, but for everyone else on the road. It’s an offroad light and blinds everyone like an offroad light does. It can’t be aimed to avoid glare, period. If you don’t want flashes ruining your vision, don’t run it. It’s a terrible fad that’s been started. I appreciate the ingenuity for sure, but that LP6 is not the answer.
Have you ridden one? When you want to go it rips like no other stock bagger with an exhaust. The throttle by wire is a different feel but not bad because the outcome is violent.
@@joedunne9492 I absolutely have, a few times, and yes the throttle response is pretty bad unless it's in sport mode. It was one of the first things my buddy that owned the bike said when we swapped bikes for a ride. You can just tell in the video alone.

I always tell people to just ride one first before they say anything about the bike.
