Hi Kelli! First, I'd like to tell you that I love your videos! I've danced most of my life but I just started teaching my mom how to tap after years of not dancing. I'm a bit out of practice and your videos really help! I actually really love time steps, but I have a question. When I was taught the single (a long time ago ;-)), it started with a stomp, not a shuffle. Is that wrong, or is that just a different time step? I'm thinking maybe the stomp isn't traditional? I really like starting with the shuffle, though. I'd just like to know why some teach with the stomp and some with the shuffle. :-) Thanks for the videos!
I am now time stepping like a crazy old tap lady. Thanks Kelli! Hope you visit Vancouver again soon!
Omg wow you teach so well..so much fun to learn from you..i am a beginner and is so excited to be one day like you..tap like you..😊

Kacie Sunshine Nicholson I was taught the stomp too. A lot of teachers feel that a stomp (instead of a shuffle) is easier for beginners.
