Justin the only guy who stayed for the common goal of just making great music and didn't go off with some great band and became so famous he wouldn't be able to do the things he does as a common man! We who are fans of his guitars and music do appreciate it very much. Thanks Justin!! You've taught so many with the way you've done things!!
After getting a sponge and soaking up the tears off my amplifier, I decided to try something. I went down the neck to Gm and echoed and answered you....fucking hell. I've been bored to death with the same scales....then I just listened to you...and was able to stay in tune...in key, and on time....in a basic way...my wife asked who the guitarists were in the video. She had no idea I sounded like anything close to a semi competent player....I was smiling the entire time I was playing....thank you. It's been a shit week. This instrumental brings up this emotion in me, i cant describe it. My father passed away recently, he was a major blues fan like myself. Thank you for this rendition. Its brought a little sunshine into my life right now. Please, if you are reading this, take a moment to tell your loved ones how much you care, a day will come where you wont be able to anymore. Thanks for all the countless hours you spend mastering every note, giving them the respect they deserve..and every instrument you play to bring beautiful music to us.

Bea-ut-i-ful. Didn’t know of Chris Stapleton. If you’re gonna do a cover, this is how you do it. The tune is like Joe Cocker ‘When will I be released’ stirred together with Peter Green ‘Albatross’, and poured over ice. Justin has found a way to slow down time. Can’t stop listening to this. (Just seen a couple of people mention ‘I’d Rather go Blind’, yup. Thanks, knew there was something else.)

And honey, I stay stoned on your love all the time
I've looked for love in all the same old places
Found the bottom of the bottle's always dry
But when you poured out your heart I didn't waste it
'Cause there's nothing like your love to get me high
You're as smooth as Tennessee whiskey
You're as sweet as strawberry wine
You're as warm as a glass of brandy
And honey, I stay stoned on your love all the time
[Instrumental]
You're as smooth as Tennessee whiskey
You're as sweet as strawberry wine
You're as warm as a glass of brandy
And honey, I stay stoned on your love all the time
You're as smooth as Tennessee whiskey
Tennessee whiskey
Tennessee whiskey
You're as smooth as Tennessee whiskey
Tennessee whiskey
Tennessee whiskey
i got 2 of your bootleg Cds and they sound so good. Man keep on picking. this is totally good music. Reminds me of my Riverboat days, listen to music
I could listen to this on repeat for hours. Soothing doesn't describe this feeling.
If God had a cellphone He would make this His ringtone...
This is the greatest comment I've ever seen on youtube😂
You win the internet 2020, congrats! And Happy Thanksgiving!
Make this your phone's ringtone and become God..
Jajajaja oh right
You put into words what I'm feeling
Few things in life are as relaxing as getting stoned and listening to JJ jam his sad jams
Chris Stapleton is an amazing country singer and this is one of his songs.
The guitar is beautiful. You hit it just right bro. Sipping southern mash outside and just listening. Got me in that place only great music can take you. We all know that place

This is NOT a Chris Stapleton song ! ! Written by Dean Dillon and Lynda Hargrove first released by David Allan Coe then covered by George Jones later covered by Chris Stapleton. Is not a Chris Stapleton song !
@@allenwilson9656 well thank you for the correction and god bless google..lol
A lot of people don't know that George Jones did this song originally. Chris Stapleton's version is awesome though.
I just got my father's day gift😎 It's a Bluetooth speaker for my deck and hot tub area. Nothing like going right to my main man Justin Johnson with this song being first in the air. Oh Lawd, life is good 😎
Beautiful. A bit of Hendrix in there too. Smooth.
Oh boy am i happy to find this video, i like the way its played and this inspired me more to play and practice this song with one of my best mates who’s getting married next year to play and sing this with him on their wedding 👌👌
I think my guitar is broken. It doesn't sound anything like that!
YOURS TOO?
It's the magic of reverb
