» Drove back to Queenstown

As a Kiwi I can say you guys have the right attitude. If you come here and treat our beautiful country with the respect it deserves you will be rewarded. Our economy relies a lot on tourism and we really appreciate how much of an effort it takes to actually get here. So if you make that effort, and respect the land and culture, then all are welcome. We love sharing this wonderful part of the world.

This brings back so many awesome memories of my trip to New Zealand in 2018. My husband and I spent 3 weeks there for our honeymoon. Half time in the north island and half time in the south island. New Zealand really is a special place! 💖 😊

Wowwww what an incredible beauty all around you. These rocks, the mountains, the views, the fjord, waterfalls and al those animals are just amazing. It remembers me of my trips to Norway, but I had no idea you could find this beauty also in New-Zealand. You must have enjoyed it to the fullest ❤

I've been lucky enough to have visited Milford Sound twice, once in the sunshine and once in the rain. I've got to say it's quite a sight to see all the waterfalls come to life in the rain, so I hope you get to come back and see the other side of Milford Sound. Thanks for your video.

if you come to New Zealand you will soon enjoy the peaceful and tranquil views of the beaches ,waterfalls ,mountain ranges ,rivers , bushwalks etc ,whether your camping or not one of the things ienjoy to do is being up early to see the sun rise in the morning and having a good cup of coffee and just taking in the view of where you are

Beautiful video Ashlynne. Seeing you are into hiking you should try the Roy's Peak hike, it is easily take your breath away also the stunning short drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy
New Zealand is awesome- we live in Australia and it quick to get over and we love it - you have to come to visit Australia next - we did an around Australia in a motor home when we arrived from South Africa and it was epic - love your spirit of adventure- sending love from Sydney xxx

The clay cliffs remind me of the Badlands in South Dakota. An awesome place if you haven't been. It's like a movie set for Star Wars.

If you enjoyed New Zealand, you should come check out Washington State! Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker have amazing hikes around them, not to mention the views you get just driving the roads. Plus, you always have the chance of seeing mountain goats on some of the trails.
You didn't see all of NZ here, btw. You cannot make comparisons. Mountain goats here as well.
@@lesleyhughes3174 cool! I’m not saying WA is more or less amazing then NZ, I’m just saying there are similar aspects when comparing some of the views in the video. So if she liked those parts of NZ, she might like WA as well.

Your video make me throwback some memories during my trip to New Zealand in 2018... I have been there for 3 weeks.. Auckland, Pahia, Rotorua, Queenstown, Mount Cook and many places.. I have never forget the beautiful scenery especially Queenstown..I just take pictures for some memories.. I can't take videos because of winter.. Too cold❄️😂Hooker Valley so beautiful like a real postcard..
This video was a delight. Even though I've been to NZ twice you still went to some places and did some stuff I've not gotten to do (yet!). Well done to you guys for your itinerary as well. You really packed in a lot in a short time. I've been itching to travel again and brain-storming ideas for this year. Now NZ is back on the shortlist!

I’m going back to New Zealand for the first time in the last maybe 10 years in September and I’m so excited. I’m going to the north island, doing a few different places, going to Hobbiton and many other places, it’s going to be great and maybe we’ll get to go see a bit of snow in one of the days 🙂. I’ve only been to the south insane so I’m excited to explore the north island this time 😀.

I've heared several times that Slovenia, where I come from, is quite similar to New Zealand. Watching this videoI can see where this is coming from. Especially the second part of your trip looks exactly like the valey of Soča or the Bohinj lake (except without penguins and dolphins).
It's also funny to see you so much excited about this scenery, when I have something very similar it like a 2h drive away. Also after watching this I feel very priviliged to live in such a beautiful country whic has also such stunning nature.
Maybe you come and visit Slovenia also one day and tell me if I'm right ;)

Aoraki /Mt Cook is the Maunga that Sir Edmund Hillary would train upon many times before his successful ascension and descent with Tensing Norgay of Mt Everest in 1953. " Well George we knocked the bastard off". Famous quote from Hillary to fellow kiwi climber George Lowe who was part of the mountaineering team in 1953.

Wow, I’m definitely planning an NZ trip soon! In hindsight, is there any changes you’d make to your itinerary? Or where you’d like to go with more time? :)
So fun!! Honestly I’d say for a one week trip it’s a perfect itinerary. But if you have extra time, I’d definitely explore Queentown a bit more and I would have loved to get to doubtful sound as well!!
