There is an option for fixed volume output. Check the manual for how to switch the variable output to fixed. “While DAC is in standby mode, simultaneously press volume and filter buttons.”
I bought Ifi zen one signature. It sounds good, I like it, but it gives me background noise in the speakers. With the amplifier from half to maximum this noise starts to appear. I removed all the sources, the problem is with the power source. I also noticed a boost in the middle area. Do you recommend Cambridge 200m over Ifi zen one signature? Thank you.
Channa D! love your channel man! question, I have a similar setup but I'm running a Marantz AV7705 Processor, Oppo Sonica DAC and a Marantz CD player. I just can't seem to get the DAC to work! I have the Coax Cable running thru the DAC to Marantz CD player and the RCA Cables running from DAC to the Marantz Processor into the CD input source. I know that its been 3 years since you displayed this video but I would love to hear back from you man!! By the way, my Marantz CD player has Optical, Coax and Analog In and Out!

HI. I intend to buy the michi x3 this week. The seller told me that the michi x3 already inluded the dac chip. Why you need to add the dacmagic 200m ? ( I own one for long time and still keep it connect with my NAD C388 ). My self, I am very happy with the dacmagic 200m connect with mac mini m1 and play via Jriver. Thanks for your video
Anyone know how you can connect this to the Cambridge audio v2 cxn streamer? I want to try out mqa. Can you use this as a separate dac to that streamer? Thank you
Great review and channel! I've been using a Dragonfly Red for the last 4 years. Would the DacMagic 200M be a worthwhile upgrade? Do you think the difference would be noticeable? The Dragonfly Red maxes out at 96khz/24bit. I use Qobuz and mostly listen to classical and jazz and use Roon to up-sample 44/16 to 96/24 and I must say there seems to be a *slight* improvement in the sound quality. So I'm thinking the DacMagic would let me up-sample to 192/24 (and higher). Also, Qobuz has a lot of content in 192/24 natively. Has anyone been using a Dragonfly Red and moved to the DacMagic 200M? What are your impressions? Worth it?

So you have a signal that goes CD Player > DAC > AV7705 ? And you’re not getting sound?
