Thank you sir. Yeah I think its manly down to the EMI that plagues that end of the field the Nox really did struggle with it. And yes the Guy that came up with the nail brush idea 💡 such a useful tool.
Only thing I can put it down to is the amount of EMI and iron contamination. The Nox was ok on the Iron its a great machine and was probably the best at separation. The Deus 2 yes still picking up a bit of EMI nowhere near as much as the Nox and is fantastic at unmasking them good targets next to iron. Thanks for watching dude
The Nox 800 would have screamed out with those coppers bud, Just goes to show that you haven't walked over those finds with it previously. Finds will always be missed, it just might take you going in a different direction, the ground conditions have changed, or like I said, you just missed it last time. Anyway, would be nice to see you using your Nox 800 now and then. Well done on the pre-decimals. All the best Dan and HH
In most places definitely this field is probably the most challenging field I've ever Detected on. The factor where I dug these coins is the crazy amount of EMI there is an over head power line 20 feet away and a underground power line 3 feet underground. I have had quite a few coins from around that spot with the Nox most bit iffy signals. But this field I've gridded both ways with the Nox. And I've nox gridded it one way with the Deus 2. Now I'm sure I could go back over it with the Nox and still find something probably a few days after some good rain. Its like you say different day different conditions a field is never truly done. But in my opinion the Deus 2 definitely has the edge over the Nox when it comes to EMI, and mineralised ground. I've definitely not but the Nox to bed it will be back out when I feel its called for. I just want to master the D2 like I did the Nox first. Thanks for watching dude
Out of interest Dan, did you use a factory setting & tweak it a bit to suit the ground or a custom setting? I’ve been using Deep HC with great success coin shooting, only digging the nicer sounding tones 😉👍🏻
On this site I used Deep HC with just a bit of tweaking manly to the audio. 5 tones square. Filter 2, bottle caps 2, everything else was the same. We just had a good amount of rain for the first time in ages so I might go back this afternoon and see what else I can pull from the same area. With all those large coins you missed from the other 2 detectors something is a miss. At least you had the Deus to clean it up! Nice job
