This house is gorgeous and well thought out! I HATE seeing big homes that waste space with "bonus" rooms/niches/etc that you have to figure out what to do with. The finishes are beautiful and the decor impeccable! I'd live there too! 🥰
No kidding on the "detail, detail, detail"! There is so much to appreciate in this house. The foyer...oh, my, even the print they chose...so much pizazz! The hidden doors...yes please. The stainless steel kick plates?? Wow! I need those. I could go on and on. Like she said "detail, detail, detail".
wow. even though the first floor seems small, the thoughtful creative design, space planning with the furniture layout and the lavish finishes more than compensate for less space. The lovely linen and soft neutral tones brighten the space. The master ensuite immediately made me think of a luxurious European flat. One of the best design from House & Home and worthy of being featured. Finally great design!

There are touches here and there of the house itself and design choices that remind me of the Eyeswoon house. The floors, fireplaces, kitchen layout, the shapes of some furniture pieces etc.

What I really like about this home is, it's so clean and simple and not cluttered, I like how she took the outdated item out renovated them. But the trick is not to have clutter in your home
This is a home indeed, very warm and welcoming. The main bedroom is a sanctuary I wouldn't mind retiring to after a long or short day. Impressive work indeed 👏

Now this is design! This design took my breathe away!...This is not even my style, but I loved every inch of this home. Truly a masterful design!...Anyone thinking of moving from a smaller to a larger home should probably visit this design first! So many of these ideas can be implemented in the most common of houses. Great job!

OMG this is so great! That crown moulding detail is SIC! Love that you used doors that fold away on both walls! Everything is perfect. Is that mirrored wall concealing the plumbing for the bathroom vanity in the en suite?
I concur. I think it was a very heavy handed renovation. That original wood burning fireplace was so charming. I think it looks like a slick new build condo now that will be dated and passé within a decade. And that's being generous.
