I'm almost certain that the reason for the phrasing of "then add" damage for each electrokinesis is because you could potentially gain electrokinesis based on what was rolled. It is not an isolated source of damage and would clarify if it were.
Thanks for your content. It feels authentic. I'd played the generic dice throne game and really enjoyed the system but wasn't into the theme of the random characters. With this new X-Men pack I am very excited and am definitely going to get the X-Men pack, trying to decide on missions and the Marvel pack....and the miniatures...and the sleeves...and the acrylic tokens... I have a question because I haven't found it on the campaign page, where did the standees for Thor and Loki come from? Do the limited edition battle chests contain standees of each character?
Hey Alex. Cool play through. Helped me decide to back X-Men and missions. I know this isn't an official release but could you tell me what size the hexes are for the characters to stand on the mission board. That would really help me out.

I am a bit confused, it says you can play with other characters, yet how do you get the standees for them? Are there generic standees which are included in the missions box so you can play with your existing characters?
@@W0lfman250 im guessing they're going to make the S1/2 standees available separately eventually. But if you want, you can always use one of your hero's Status Effects as the proxy. Saw ppl doing this with x-men since the standees weren't ready for the prototypes
@@W0lfman250you'd think so but when I raised concern about it in their fan Facebook group, everyone said I'm a whiner who is a blind hater so **shrugs** apparently they don't care about providing generic player token in a $70+ game and you literally have to use your own representation.
This isn't a review video, it's a gameplay. But as far as what I think, I do think this is my favorite way to Play Dice throne so far, dice throne to me is typically a 3.5, this likely elevates it to a 4.

Certainly, the characters are designed for a 'battle dice' game but the fact that you are able to play co-op/solo is pretty nice for a game like this. My wife enjoys this but not as much as I do so, I really enjoy playing this solo with DTA and looking forward to playing Marvel missions. Can't deny that I'm looking forward to playing Rogue, Jean, Gambit, Iceman, Cyclops and, well, all of them.
@@TheRaydiation No there isn't a rule. If nothing matches it's a whiff. To an extent that's the gist of a dice game. Bad Rolls are always a part of any dice game. To be fair, there are ways through card play to make an opponent whiff by not matching dice.

Shields are indeed considered status effects. And can be removed/moved as such.

IIRC the only way to get the standies for the original 16 characters is to buy DTA.
standees for seasons 1-2 are in DTA only at the moment. standees for everything else will be included in their box

@@Fighterfan69 do they have a rule if none of the dice match up to an attack? Bad rolls could really fuck your gameplay up
