I order Dead-End Drive-In however I noticed the picture was Dead-End Drive-In but the description was for House II so assuming that I was going to receive House II I re-ordered Dead-End Drive-In at Amazon. Now I have 2 copies because I was impatient and assumed. But Oh well live and learn. I did order anymore as I think I had ordered a bunch from Arrow directly from a sale they had right before the BN sale.
Amazing haul! Very cool Water World boxset. I picked up two Arrow Academy titles via Amazon during the sale, but I really need to dive more into this label.
Beyond the Door is on arrow as well its the best in the 3 movie series. They're doing another sequal right now for the first one with the original actress called Embryo
Shock is GREAT. It's not really a sequel to Beyond The Door (which I also love, although a lot of people consider it junky... but, to me, it's one of the best Exorcist ripoffs), they just stuck that title on it 'cuz the same really weird kid ("Marko! That's my name!") is in both casts. Anyway, Shock is excellent. There's one scene in that'll scare the hell out of you. Trust me, you'll know it when you see it. And Deep Red is a frickin' masterpiece. I've seen that dozens of times. Maybe Dario's best, although it's hard to beat Suspiria...

The only way to understand Dune is to read the original trilogy, but unfortunately, doing that doesn't make the movie any better. The subsequent mini-series was a lot more true to the book, but I only made it halfway through and so far haven't even finished that yet! The "God Emperor" book (5th in series?) was good, but after that the story got so bogged down I couldn't justify spending time with it anymore. I keep wondering if the dune remake made any more sense, but I've yet to find a reviewer that has actually read the books.....it's a shame, the books have continued for something like 30 or 40 titles, but no one can process the all information into one film.
I have been wanting to read Dune for a while now, but it just hasn’t happened yet. I do a lot of audiobooks and have heard the audio version (though labeled as unabridged) cuts out some of the text because it’s full cast, so I want to read it physically. I’m just much slower that way, lol. Thanks so much for watching!
