I have a 2020 Escape SE in black since mid March 2022. There is auto start from the Ford Pass app on iPhone or Android phones. The key fob doesn’t have it on for it. I really loved the Apple Car play. I even liked how smooth the ride is in it. I had a 2015 Ford Escape SE in silver grey. To me it was a big upgrade on certain things inside of the vehicle. It kind of looks like a Porsche SUV to me in the headlights when I looked at it.
I bought one today. Paid 500 below invoice, 0% interest for 72 months and got the premium extended warranty for a dollar over cost. I basically stole this car. Lol
Is there really no way to pop the trunk from the inside? I have a 2020 Ford Escape SE and this has been the most annoying thing about this car. Been looking in TH-cam to see if maybe I’m missing something somewhere. I don’t see it on my key fob either.
@@DeLoEnterprises great video! yeah read about that and after a little research and a few trips to Reddit, someone explained to me why it has to be a manual lift vs a power lift specifically for the SUV and it made more sense. I just think the SE is the odd one but also good if you are looking for something that has enough of the bells and whistles to make a tech guy happy! it is a beautiful car I know some say otherwise but I really enjoy it!
I do have a 2020 Ford Escape SE. I do start mine up from my iPhone with the Ford Pass app. Even on couple more devices my Apple Watch and my iPod Touch 7 generation.
@@DeLoEnterprises cost savings. Most people overlook the headlights, but for those who drive LED which are more energy efficient, brighter and last longer, it's a huge benefit.
How is the ride quality? The previous model had real choppy ride and 3 of my friend who had them sold it due to it within 3 years. I am hoping this has better ride.
It has android auto or an apple equivalent that you can use google maps through. I prefer it over the in car navigation cause it updates with your phone and you dont need that sd card anymore that you used to
You can use your phone to substitute GPS. My parents had a 2020 Jeep Cherokee as a rental, and it didn't have navigation (same with our rental from last year, which was a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 I think), so my parents paired up their phones via Apple Car play when they had the rental to substitute GPS

Actually this is the trims up from the base model the S trim is the the base model this is the se which is a slight upgrade

There should be a way to open it from in the vehicle unless it's the Base SE model I believe!
I know this video is older but I thought you can only open the trunk from the outside handle (and there is no button on the fob) for the SE

It's way better than the one i'm driving, I hate it on the passenger side.
Headlights are trash on the Eacape. All vehicles in its class, even base trim have LED’s. This just has old halogen which you can’t see at night.
I don't know why the Escapes are not standard LED.
