Great to see you back home, Ryan. And doing well. A few thoughts: 1) Not crazy about car life as American cities are now the most dangerous they've been since I can remember and i'm your age from NYC. Watch out for car jackings at red lights in places like Miami. Also I'd recommend sleeping maybe in hotel parking lots where cars are expected 2) MIami is now entirely Latin, and yes full of Venezuelans. If you don't know, the Biden admin has flown in and allowed at the border via walking up to 20M Latin/Central Americans to enter in the last 3 years under the fake guise of seeking asylum. Here in NYC, the Venezuelans are deadly. No joke. If you tire of Miami, further north up in Palm Beach county it becomes a lot more American and white again 3) Since your income is likely low compared to American standards, please apply for benefits like SNAP (food), free healthcare (Obama care provided by the state of Florida) and any other benefit that a low income earner can get. Migrants are being given debit cads with $15K along with free housing in many cities. Surely you can get in on this action. 4) You ain't gonna get laid in your car, but my advice would be to scour the local casinos if/when you are up to it. Just get a cranberry with seltzer, pretend it's a drink, and walk around the casinos and look for "mature" women. They are all over the place down there looking for action. Would prob take you home. Getting laid in America as a 50 yr old single white dude is very difficult compared to years ago. 5) With your teaching experience, surely you can get a better job...maybe as a substitute teacher to start in a middle or high school. You're a smart, educated dude. 6) Just beware of our surroundings. I can't stress how random crime has become in places like Miaimi. There are no real safe areas no more. Oh, and most importantly, DO NOT...AND I MEAN DO NOT...assume that African Americans are friendly like they were in Africa. Quite the opposite my good man. Avoid them.
