The seller is concerned about having issues having it sent here and I am also concerned that I'm not informed enough. I believe there is an additional 15% tax but I have to pay once it arrives. Are there any forms I need to fill out before purchasing the gun and does the seller in the US need specific information in order to send it to Vancouver BC?
I don't believe so unfortunately if you are a direct family member you can certainly gift a gun or give a gun to that family member without a background check but if it is a friend a stranger it has to go through a 4473 background check

I want my brother to have a firearm but he's living in Illinois and I'm not living there anymore I am living in a freer state but still he wants a pistol to protect himself and his son. It's crazy there pistol maximum is 15 round and rifle is 10 round.

If the gun is not available in California (AREX Delta GEN 2) can I still do a person to person transfer from someone who owns the gun out of state?
