you lads are gold - sat here trying to fix something and had this on - stopped fixing. I love this movie too. Best line? "Don't call me Otto!" Cracks me up every time.
I have this movie on DVD now got it used at a record shop that sell old records, DVDs, cds tshirts, cassette tapes, posters. The DVDs are still a dollar each.
CRY-ton, mate - it's pronounced, CRY-ton. (Sorry for being pedantic). A Fish Called Wanda has to be one of the best British comedies of all time, in my not so humble opinion. It harks back to the golden years of Ealing - not too surprising as Mr Crichton memorably directed several of them, including the magical Lavender Hill Mob - yet it still has a style all its own. Every time I happen upon it, it's one of those that I can't help but watch it all over again. And remember, "DON"T CALL ME STUPID!!!"
Apologies, never actually heard his name pronounced. I had to do the best I could with my ignorant cockney tongue 😂 But absolutely agree, fantastic movie
I walked out on this movie 20 minutes in. Turgid nonsense. As we walked out of the packed cinema we were joined by several others who had the same opinion as us. Absolute pile of shite.

Thanks a lot, glad you liked it. Hope you got back to fixing whatever it was though 😅
I love this movie so much and this review is excellent. The chip up your nose really made me laugh.
Thank you so much. Your appreciation makes the days of spud bogies worth it 😅

That’s great value. Always good to keep a few DVDs 📀 in case the streaming ever goes down, or goes to extortionate rates. Thanks For watching 👀

Fair enough. It does get better though if you ever felt like giving it another chance. The pay off is great
