  • This juniper prostrata belongs to my customer Joe and the tree was in need of a restyle. It had some work done in the past but now was overgrown. Joe mentioned that he has nursed this tree back to health after it suffered from some sort of fungal or insect attack 3 years ago. It is now very healthy and ready to be restyled.
    Please note: if you located in Melbourne, I provide bonsai services. Reach out to me on my email address at bonsaiworx@gmail.com if you would like to discuss you bonsai needs further.

    Hey David! You have quickly become my go to bonsai channel. It's hard to believe that tree was in a bonsai pot until you styled it. Well done!

    it would possibly be quite rootbound so would be nice to see how you water and fertilise this tree after restyle - how long before repot?

    • @Bonsaiworx
      @Bonsaiworx  ปีที่แล้ว

      Repot in late winter which is about 9 months away for us. Water and fertilise per normal by the customer this tree belongs to.

    Hi david what kind of soil would you have in specialy with the hot weather that we can have in WA, how moist is the soil have to be before rewater it.

    • @Bonsaiworx
      @Bonsaiworx  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would need a bit more organic portions in your mix in WA. I’ve recently met a couple of the Perth bonsai clubs and they would have much better information than I can give you of soil and watering conditions in Perth. I can scrape the soil surface to check if my trees need water.
