There are at least two versions of the Black Orchid : eau de parfum and parfum, perhaps there is a third too (eau de toilette) ?.At any rate, for 15 euros the Oud 24 Hours is a decent buy.
I got the chance to sample Black Orchid and Oud 24h today. The similarity is really close after the opening and 24h doesn't even smell too synthetic. It's really a great buy for a daily wear if you like it, maybe reserving the real deal for more special occasions.
Had purchased a Black Orchid perfume oil & loved it. There's no way I'd spend the $ on the real thing so bought this oud 24hrs clone & it's nice, thanks for helping me to save
I own Tom Ford Black orchid,I use one spray, then spray oud 24 hours on. i personally can't tell the difference.I save myself a lot of money by combining the two fragrances together, especially in this current climate

I love the dupe they are quite similar even the gold version of 24 hour oud is so beautiful too… i use this perfume in my humidifier and my room smells so great
You are asking why they call every parfum "Oud" without adding Oud-Wood notes. That is because in Arabic hisotry, bruning Oud-Wood is a kind of perfume for thousand of years. So the term "oud" is used for any kind of perfum. For example someone would say: "I put some oud on for my date night" and grabs the bottle of Blue de Chanel.

I bought a bottle of this, just to see, and it's damn good. Somebody thinks it's feminine. I don't get that at all, but each to their own. I've paid ten times what I paid for this and been less happy.
People keep saying that "it's feminine". Black Orchid was originally marketed for females, as a "feminine" fragrance for the feminine demographic. Men conveniently forget that simple fact.

BO is richer and oud has a bit of a citrusy opening which luckily goes away. oud def has strong projection in the first hour or so but then is more soft and wearable. the price is an absolute steal and affordable and i dont care for brand names so oud 24 hours is perfect for me
bought the oud 24 hour ard al-zaafaran. cant smell any chocolate, theres no berry here and theres no oud here. all i can smell is the cinnamon stick and little hint of sage. quite dissapointed. ive never smelled tom ford black orchid before so i cant tell if its similar or not. bottom line : i dont like it. maybe because im not a big fan of super spicy perfume.
Tom Ford Black Orchid is for straight Metrosexual men. The Man who wants a pedicure, shops alot, puts a face pack with cucumbers on eyes, shapes his eyebrows often, uses tinted chap stick and spends on skin care products extensively but he is STRAIGHT atleast.

update: now that i’ve had it for a few months, the longevity had gotten much stronger after maceration if anyone is having issues with that.
To my nose, the only difference is that the berries are absent in Oud 24 Hours. But that's good.

The scent of Oud 24 Hours does not have nearly the depth of character that Ford Black Orchid does… but it is a decent cheapie.

I could tell a big difference between the two. TF is such a higher quality. Oud 24 has a sour smell to my nose where I can’t stop smelling BO
Update I had the test strips mixed up. I double checked and I actually liked oud 24 better. That’s the one I couldn’t stop smelling

OUD 24 is too soft and doesn't last on skin or clothes. It is like they have 5% of the real TF juice in the bottle.
I regret purchasing as it is barley noticeable.
Just use them for spraying rooms :)
