Also Devvon wasn't even top five in this cypher 😂 basic ass bars, he just sounds really good which gives him an edge. No hate, I love Devvon but he could do a lot more than that.
He had one mega-bar that was tricky to catch: “Kill ya like the doctor from the sickness cuz you’re so impatient,” and he said Kill in a way that it can be heard as cure, so kill/cure, Doctor, sickness, patient. 4 words, 5 medical references, in a sentence that makes sense. Crypt also had some layers (Rap is a HOUSE and bitch, I’m HIGH up in it, call me a rap ATTIC (but listed in lyrics as ADDICT) bitch, the sky is not the limit. ROLL up on me and get SMOKED, yo, fuck your drama, I’m CRACKin SKULLS in this JOINT (house and drug at the same time), I call that BLUNT force trauma.)
Yeah, he wasn’t top five in my opinion, but he was just outside of it. But who most people slept on was Quadeca. “Indian (In the end) I need my rupees,” “I cannot be measured so I am unRULEy,” “They trying to keep me from getting too HOT, I got SPICE so I’m getting my BLEU CHEESE (which could also be BLUE CHEESE for the blue ($100) bills he’s making,)” “They all RUSSIAN (Rushin) tryna do as much work as what I PUTIN (Put in), Put in (Putin) I’m puttin, so you know nobody else is ON PAR.” Quadeca went ham on his cheesy puns.
But I digress. They all were great, not a weak verse on the cypher, and Nemraps, if you see this, either your bars had nice layers, and you lied on Genius Lyrics, or you had the weakest (but still not weak) verse of the cypher.
Either mac lethal or nemraps was the worst on this track for me i like mac but he should stick to his challenge vids lol no offense to anyone
