@@inesskasyan Hope you’re doing reasonably good there. Are you by chance acquainted with youtuber and Metallica fan Andriy Vasylenko? He’s also in Lviv.
I'm so happy about the fact that Metallica still performs old school songs, like songs from Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning era. They still can thrash, and that's the proof
They should because those are their best songs. I wouldn’t care to hear anything else. I would want to see them live and only to pay a set list from the first 3 albums. I can’t stand Enter Sandman. That song is a complete sellout song.
That was a cool opening solo from the Hamster. Sounding very much like it should. Killer track. One of the first things I learned to play on the guitar as well as it happens.
The opening solo is great! Wow! You also see James looking appreciative in Kirk’s direction and Kirk cannot hide his smile afterwards. This made my day!! Looking very much forward to see them in this shape twice the coming month!!! 🤘🏻
Kirks guitar faces are getting even better! James is aging like fine wine, to be able to sing a song that you wrote when you were 18 when you’re almost 60 is godlike. Lars is really getting back on track, and rob slays as always! This is the Metallica that I know and love!
Damn, James sounds fucking KILLER here! The entire band does, actually - Kirk is ripping and Lars sounds tight af and actually played the fast section faster than on the original studio version.
Agreed, his playing is the tighest it's been since the 90s, this is the best the whole band has sounded in decades. I guess taking time off in 2020-2021 helped all of them
Yes, for a while Kirk was really very inaccurate and "out of round". Not clean and not at his best. You can tell that's changed and he loves what he's doing more than ever - that's how I want to see it!
Totally. I view it as being a precursor to the riff festivals of AJFA. This is like the Kill Em All version of Frayed Ends of Sanity...every last piece of it is fun to play.
You can hate Kirk if you’d like but there’s no denying that when he’s in his groove he becomes the best out there, maybe not the most technical but the most passion driven imo. And for me that’s what music is about.
It’s interesting to see that James holds his pick with his thumb, index, and middle finger just like me. Definitely improved stability. No wonder he can rip through riffs like this
