That opening shop was reminiscent of a game I played last night with the exact same shop. The minion that refreshed was a Backstage Security, and I just went ham on an early game highroll with Mind Mucks and Oozelings and another Picky Eater that made me strong the whole game. Fun time. Made me feel like I’m getting better as a player.
Question for my understanding (I haven't played much Felboar). Why drop 100/100 Felboar at 16:32? Ideas of golden Cultist would bait me to play 2 demon, especially with no bramble. Is poison just better? Limited board space (especially with golden Titus)? Is a high health Felboar less consistent since it may not die? Or is this an outlier since buddy + hero power enables your 3 Cultist goal?
We don't have a good set up to generate enough spells to really scale the Felboar into late game so it's not going to get much bigger than it currently is, and we also have a golden Titus making bringing the Atrocity back more stats than the Felboar. Atrocity is just a much better minion to bring back with cultist overall, it has far more synergies since it's an all type, and with murlocs in the lobby bringing back divine shielded venomous minions that spit out ~30/30-40/40 tokens is extremely hard to beat for both stat boards and scam boards (as we saw in the final combat, Shady was still able to get there even though the opponent was fielding double big cleave, 3000/2000, and two Leeroy's). In short, we were never going to be able to get our Felboar big enough to be a relevant minion in the late game, and late game Atrocity/Cultist is one of the strongest builds in the game currently.
Also: golden Cultist is generally pretty bad (though there is an argument for it in the case of the video, but not because it brings back two demons, just because it allows you to have a third cultist on board to summon more Atrocity's), it's much better to bring back several copies of one very good minion, especially when we have a golden Baron filling the board anyway. Not to mention if the second demon is significantly worse to bring back than the first and you're running Baron you need three extra spaces to get two of the good minion, rather than just one extra slot.

On turn 2 would it have been possible to recruit in case it hits the discount refresh ele, sell then buy picky?
