In this video I give you a desktop how-to tutorial of how to use this new Arma 3 Sync Mod Manager program. It's fairly simple to use overall, but I wanted to publicize this program as well, since it has saved me a lot of time. If you enjoy addons for Arma 3, this program is a must.

ArmA3Sync is both a launcher and addons synchronization software for ArmA 3. It is intend to be used by players, server administrators and ArmA 3 teams.
For those of you who haven't heard of Arma 3, it's an open world military simulation sandbox. You can play online multiplayer with many people (and different missions), or you can play single player and make your own missions using the editor.

I'm new to installing mods to Arma 3, how do I add them to this after I download them? Do they appear by themselves? What do I need to do?
Have you had any problems when launching Arma with AllInArma enabled? Under Expansions I see that some parts of the mod are enabled, but I can't access the content in the editor.

i got a big problem.
only one mod is working at a time... when i go to addon options i can set addon priorities and just the first mod is working... but AiA is working without problems even its on the bottom of addon priorities. ive spended hours on this so iam sure its connected to the addon priorities. but i can see all mods when iam ingame and go to expansions. i have no idea what i can do about this, i hope someone can help me
Hey most mods (not all) I put them down in editor, & during loading the game shuts down & I get an error called "Bad Version 59 *mod name*" something like that.

how do i add more connections to my download since its updated?
This is great! finally i can play servers that dont use the addons i have installed with no worries of being kicked due to unseen addons still being active even though i have no launch parameters set. One question though i cant seem to get the USS Nimitz addon to work with this at all, even though its listed it seems some files have been deleted namely the jdg_carrier, ttt_nimitzelevator, TTT_NimitzFlightDeck and TTT_NimitzRescue... i cant seem to find them as individual files and this addon worked for me prior to installing this mod manager, anyone have any ideas?
does it detect addons from the Steam Workshop?
I have the same software and i do it as you say in the video and i have 2 error message one before the game start and the other when the the game start it crash the game and gave me this error message. (Include file a3\functions_f\Debug\fn_isDebugConsoleAllowed.sqf not found). and first error is this message (Addon 'cba_common' requires addon 'A3_3DEN'). I download the game from torrent and not from steam so the game installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\ARMA 3 some mods make the same error message and the other mods have the same first error message but it's working in the game with missing some texture.please is there any suggestion to solve this problem thank you.
I would be very thankful, if someone could help me with a very weird problem i encountered right now. For example, i downloaded the M107 Mod which works perfectly fine for me BUT other online players use this weapon too but i sometimes can'T see their weapons and i can't hear them fiering ... does someone has an explanation for this ?
Umm and how do I get the addons into the sync? I love the program but do not know how to get any addons (I want all in arma)
Very late reply, hopefully you figured out your question but, all mods are installed here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3
and ArmaSync when you start it scans that Arma3 folder, and lists to the left all the mods you have installed, from there you can create a group, and move the mods there, that you wish to use/play like in the video.

I wish you could join servers without disabling every addon, you actually have to rename the file so it doesn't load it in when you start the game.
Every single time I try to download the ac130 mod from armaholics it makes me download that stupid fallout mod manager what the he'll is up with that any help from anyone thanks guys
How do you turn off the mods. When i dont want to use them i cant turn them off. Just want to play some normal servers without mods!
Just make a folder and dont add any of you mods to it, then tick that empty folder and start the game

Mine does nothing but minimise Arma3Sync when I click start game?
+BaconAniimal hopefully by now you have gotten it to work but if not make sure that there is nothing checked on the launcher options. I had the same problem so i unchecked all launcher options and performance options and it launched. Hope this helped

Reaper Gaming Play with six is a buggier version of this program, I would highly recommend using Arma Sync over PW6, personally because I have used both in my Arma Experience.
you can't use both programs at the same time as they both do the same task.
if you're in a realism unit tell your dev to set up a repository and start using Arma Sync, its a lot better and is bug free 99% of the time

it means u did not place them right
You need to put them in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3, not the addons folder. Or you could specify within Arma3Sync where they are.
I can't open it because i get a php file i can't use

You need to go to the launcher options tab and at the bottom, theres a button that says browse, click it and locate your arma3.exe its here ---> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\arma3.exe
Right, and that doesn't work
Go to the addon options tab and click on the blue + sign at top right, and locate the arma3.exe there too, when you do this line will show in the open space
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3
see if that works for you.
it runs arma and battle eye but it is inactive and runs at a constant 0% cpu
Did you not install any mods and create a group, and tick the boxes for those groups, or mods and then started Arma3? Armasync is just a launcher you dont want it active, you want to start your game with mods, thats the whole point of using it.
