Question: if this O-ring is worn out does it leak fluid out the transmission without starting? Cause I addes fluid and it started leaking like crazy man.
If you’re talking about the oring on the torque converter, no it should not leak, I actually accidentally installed my transmission without the oring on the converter the only issue you’ll have is that you’ll get a code for the torque converter because it doesn’t allow it to seal the pressure in the converter with no oring, I removed the Tranny today and saw it has no oring on the converter so I’m trying to find who sells it
Rodriquez Owens Yes because it keeps the fluid going to the right spot but if your having shift issues make sure you don't have a flashing d4 or low on fluid and you can also try some lucas transmission additive that stuff really works wonders
i got a 2002 Honda accord 2.3 engine. I got my transmission rebuild and the men that rebuild it did not put no o-ring in it. the person that is putting it in. he said that he had to mass the gas pedal to the floor in it move. it that the torque converter o-ring
Rodriquez Owens there are a couple seals up there one a oring on torque converter and one is a pump seal , is your car leaking fluid ? if its out of fluid because of leaking seals then yes once you top off fluid but if something else is wrong then no

What is the actual name of the seal. I looked up front pump seal and got something totally different
