I think because we've been so used to seeing egotistical celebrities, many people find it hard to believe that people like Keanu Reeves can be in their level of fame while still being genuine and kindhearted, that rumors get spread to support their beliefs. But idk... Just know that there ARE some celebrities who are down to earth friendly with their pride/ego put to the side (Post Malone for example). Unfortunately some people can't accept that.

I get it man. I grew up the same way. My Father left when I was about the same age and my mother was an alcoholic, marriage revolving door also. I felt like an orphan. It is a hard thing to get over being rejected by your parents. Once you are on your own, you just have to make up your mind that you're not going to be that way (end the destructive cycle). Keanu is real. That's why people like him. Don't let hollyweird change you, man.

The closest thing I can come up with is years ago when I dated someone he began working for the navy top clearance, IT department, securing connections between Afghanistan and the US., anyway at the first three weeks of his employment his new boss and bunch of other people from his work were getting together after work to get to know each other..! I don’t think I had a clue what that meant, but soon I found myself staying up waiting to hear from him till 1,1:30 am., worrying that maybe he had a car accident, that maybe he is in the hospital, that maybe he’s been hurt.! I mean all kinds of things went through my head., I even thought about calling him mom to ask her but because it was so late I decided against it. Mind you my boyfriend didn’t answer his phone, it was straight to voicemail, I sent him multiple texts they went unanswered. Then around 2:30 am he came home and brought a drunk coworker and laid him on the couch..! I found out that the whole work crew all navy guys were at the strip club getting to know each other I suppose. I even found out that the fellas were taking the numbers of the pole dancers, some were married but grabbed and messed with the strippers. Anyhow when my boyfriend got the job I was happy for him. I knew it meant a lot to him, however soon I realized that this will not be an only time thing, he would be expected to go out with his new boss and coworkers to such places regularly l, because if he didn't his new boss will fire him & find someone else. I asked my boyfriend why he didn't text me or call me the whole night, so at least I wasn't staying up all night worried. His response was: I did not think of it.., yet he told me that the whole night he was thinking about me and he wasn’t looking at the strippers he was looking at his watch..! I didn’t believe that BS😆🙄🙄 When I asked him why he didn't tell his new boss that he is in a relationship and that he didn't want to go to such establishments, he said that his job depended on him going along to the strip clubs. Since he was asking me to marry him I said well obviously you can get one of the strippers to marry you, because you be frequent in there. I broke up with him as you can imagine, but I never forgot how quickly he turned into another man. His values and morals were gone, I imagine being in Hollywood is in many ways the same. Giving up your integrity and values for cash.

I met Keanu at Le Mans in 2015, he had no guards, nobody around him, just a seemingly normal guy, really easy to talk with, and he has genuine passion for Le Mans and racing bikes. Super humble, and zero ego.

I know many believe that their belief in Christ is the determiner of what will happen to them after they die.
