@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa ok thanks Bro Steve. I went back and found your review. Thanks! I have the biography of Donald Stamps the chief writer of the Fire Bible notes and articles, and by all accounts he was an outstanding person. He was a Nazarine preacher before he received the baptism in the Holy Ghost. So he presents some really good information about both holiness and Pentecost. He, like me, was trinitarian but he doesn't push it hard like Dake. So I can see Oness believers using it. He is broader in scope than Dake but doesn't ride hobby horses. It also doesn't come across as argumentative as Dake. In my opinion, it's the best main stream, conservative, clasical Pentecostal bible study aid. I wish they would produce a combined Fire/KJVER bible. That would be awesome. Btw, why don't you use your use your expertise and get with a publisher and produce Oness Pentecostal Study Bible? I bought a KJV Holman Study Bible. I am amazed at the information given. It may be a little more difficult to understand, but I don't care to read the wrong translation that leaves things out and changes word meaning. God Bless!

I was wondering if you would review the Holman KJV study Bible. that has the full color. i want to know how also how its notes are scriptually in sync with the inspired scriptures. if you would do that it would help me in knowing if its for me. thanks.
If you are referring to a Mr. Cantfeild's book "The Incredible Scolfield" then I suggest you look into who the author of that book was yourself. Mr. Cantfeild was anti-jewish, anti-dispensational, a five point calvinist, he was also against the rapture and if I remember correctly he was also against the second coming of Christ.
The study Bible that I would spend hours in is the Spirit-Filled Life Study Bible. This may sound weird but that is one Bible that I could spend oodles of time with it. I had a Thompson Chain Reference in which I loved was stolen. I am currently using a pew bible someone gave to me. I love this video and all of the videos that yall upload.
First, I'm KJV only. But, I've used kjv along with a strongs concordance for years. But, I found a great Hebrew/Greek study Bible that has the strongs numbers in the text (not every word. It's a key word Bible) and the complete strongs dictionary in the back. I love it!
If you are KJV only, you need to read "Demonology", a book he wrote before commissioning the KJV. If you still follow him after reading "Demonology" - at least you'll know who you are trusting in.
I think the best bible ever produced is KJV new strong’s reference bible with 789 page strong’s concordance in back. Updates old words. I bought several of them because they are out of print but can be found if looked for.
One question concerning the reliability of the gospel/new testament/injeel do you think that it's a reliable historical document and that the disciples actually met and eat with jesus
@Kile - Come on man why even believe that jesus is god but think about it to say that jesus is god you will also have to believe that the one mary carried for all those months in her womb was the almighty now no one in his/her right mind would believe that why not be a unitarian christian (biblical) and still think islam is false
@Kile - There is no where in the holy scriptures where jesus is called the creator of the universe watch sean finnegan's seminar on did the early christians believed in the trinity
I have the Thomson Chain Reference Bible in the NASB translation and love it. I also found an old TCR Survey which is chock-full of information and actually matches up well with my Bible.
@B D That would be super weird for the third largest Bible publisher in the world, and one that is actually owned by the Baptists (as opposed to Harper Colins, for example) to print Bibles with missing books. I've had two in the NKJV, one in the CSB, and one in KJV. They all had Deuteronomy... God Bless.
I found a genuine leather 1975 Open Bible on ebay but even though the leather looks great, I don't think it's a sewn binding which kinda makes me think I definitely overpaid for it.....lol. It would be a dream for lcbp to publish it or CBP but I don't know the probability of that happening.
I agree on the scofield note. That was the only study Bible in my home growing up and it seemed like every verse I didn’t understand didn’t have any notes to them. I also couldn’t follow the cross references. I’d look up verses and not be able to connect the dots on why they were mentioned. Thompson Chain is top of my wishlist!
Some reference bible go by word to verse so if the word lion in the verse it would tell you about another verse about a lion my NKJV Thomas Nelson is like that 98% of the time I used I I didn't use the reference it would have been better as a text only bible.

@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa very interesting as a christian how can i have at least one of those bible references ?how and where can i buy it thanks for your help Pastor God bless you and your ministry
Another to consider is "The Companion Bible" (KJV) with notes by renowned King's College literary genius (and polyglot) E. W. Bullinger. The "Enlarged Type Edition" sells on Amazon for $40 with about 560 reviews (evidently discerning readers..)
@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa Very nice presentation! I haven't bought one yet, but I'm leaning that way. I should note the mid-Acts position is not either normative, or ultra or even Acts 29 (nothing to split hairs or start another denomination over, but it does seem there's 4 distinct views held). Randy White runs Dispensational Publishing and has a decent class parsing things out ( th-cam.com/video/zm_jvu9ryoI/w-d-xo.html ). Thank you for your Bible focused teaching, duly subscribed! I just found a NKJV TCR and what is unique is that it is a looks like a wide margin TCR. I bought it years and years ago and it was packed away in boxes. It is a Thomas Nelson NKIV, black calfskin. Cool surprise !
Dake's Bible is definitely loaded with Scripture, some of the references are misnumbered, even in some of the newer editions. You already mentioned some doctrinal errors, some of them you see in the very verses he refers to. I did enjoy Dake's God's Plan for man, very meaty, again, some misprints with Scripture reference, and a lot of run on sentences, still loaded, it took me months to get through it, especially if one looks up the references. Thompson Chain is awesome, I also have the Chain companion Bible. Thank you Sir, I appreciate your critiques and enjoy your videos.
Pastor Steve, greetings. I’ve heard that Dake had some very strange ideas about Blacks and minorities. Any thought on this? Very important as an AfAm Christian. Thank you,sir for responding. Also, have you presented anything on how to use the Strong’s system? Currently using the NKJV OPEN BIBLE. (Trinitarian who avoids Calvinism/Missionary Baptist looking into Spirit-filled Life teacher incl Hayford). Loving your great Bible reviews. All the Best. 🇧🇪🇺🇸
Both on channel. Dakes strange beliefs and how to use the Strong’s concordance. The review of the Dake bible, and Gods plan for man. Been involved confronting the Dake racism since about 1990. They’ve been slowly removing it. God bless!
New Life Of Albany Ga. I'm torn between the Life Application Study and the Every Man's. I like a lot of knowledge and back ground when I am interested in a subject. Can you recommend one over the other?
I am struggling to understand the KJV Bible, my brother is going to buy me a Strongs Concordance. My question about the Strongs Concordance is, does it take the place of using a study bible if I use it with my KJV Bible?
Dakes does have a lot of good accurate info, but he started that whole health and wealth prosperity stuff, some of other parts I disagree on, but all in all its a good tool. What about the Westminster reference bible? I thought about buying it.
I don't think we are called to judge others based on them not believing everything that we believe. We are all called to be one. That was the real Lords Prayer that we would be united. Jesus Knew that we would be easily swayed by the finer theological points but he wanted to remind us that we all have the same Jesus. Tired of people dividing based on belief. We need to be uniting on what we have in common, Jesus and loving people.
Hi have you ever heard of Jay Vernon McGee he preached at a church in California the open door he had a radio program called Through the Bible they still play him on the radio station for time today I think he been gone to rest in the Lord for about 28 years now thank
If you can find a J Vernon McGee Thru the Bible Study Bible, its outstanding, with 15 pt print I think. Gods Word Study Bible, the "Sword Bible" as people call it, is great also with 15 pt print. Holman and ABS both have (or had) 18 pt Bibles that were not Study Bibles. Cambridge has a 24 pt print multi volume set. Of course cds and TH-cam etc are great listening options as well. Glad you have a desire for God's Word!!! Awesome!
Nice review. I love The Thompson Chain Reference Bible & The Open Bible. I would love for The Open Bible to be produced with a nice leather cover & sewn binding. The bonded leather one is terrible.
Nelson went thru a period in the 1980's when they had a genuine leather New Open Bible with a very good grain to it. Especially in Black. Beautiful Bible, and just the right size for carrying to Church. Their Signature Series in an Open Bible would be great! They did one in the KJV Study Bible. Just exquisite.
Really nice overview; even as Catholic, I truly appreciate and found my interest kindled in these study editions, (and I'll confess that I do salivate over many of the Zondervan NIV study bibles in the bookstore.)
Good evening brother let me hop that work is moving on well and thanks be to God. I have a some questions to ask What is the meaning of Gnosticism Preterism And the other is that when am reading some written information about about the gospels they always refer to Bruce, geiscer I just want to know the writers of these book because they seem to be more useful for reference purposes Another question is that who wrote expositors Bible commentary because when you ask for these books they always ask for the writers of these books brother Then another is about mc dowell and Milton.c.fisher what is the names of the books they have written I will be gratefull if my questions are put under your consideration this is Ben always from united Arab Emirates and thank you for replaying my last question about the best Bible study to use though I have not gotten one yet once again God bless brother
I like the Nelson giant print King James version that doesn't have a lot of nose but it does have good references and also it is readable which to me a Bible that is too small to read is only good for a doorstop is that. I grew up with the King James version and I'm still fond of the way it sounds and it just something I'm familiar with and the Nelson giant print is not so huge that you can't carry it easily in one hand it's really a work of art unless you just after a lot of study notes which to me the notes were not inspired so in that sense rather worthless also I like the maps in the back of the Nelson and as you say the Nelson print is probably second to none I found it on the Shelf where I've got lots of other Bibles but I'm really fond of it and I've been using it almost exclusively now it's seemingly true that I never met a Bible I didn't like and very few that I didn't buy but that just the way I am I tried to keep first things first. I'm still studying the Oneness movement and I'm still a bit confused I think what I understood is that Jesus is the embodiment of Christ or of God and so he is now the person on the throne in heaven but I don't fully understand that but I'm still studying and appreciate all that you're doing can you recommend a good TH-cam channel to listen to that would help me get a basic understanding of the Oneness movement? Thanks a lot.

I believe God is Father/Word/Spirit - 1 John 5:7. I would believe these are all speaking of 1 God, and terms such as 1st person, 2nd person, 3rd person, co-equal, co-eternal etc. are non-biblical terms, and can definitely lead to confusion at the very least. I would say the Church was corrupted before the advent of Church councils from its apostolic purity. But I would believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, that the Father is God, God is a Spirit, the Holy Spirit etc. Complex, but simple. Colossians 2:9, John 14:9, 10; 2 Corinthians 5:19, Deuteronomy 6:4. I have videos on the subject.
Archaic shakespeare and kjv english has common easy looking words that have changed in meaning such as replenish=fill, meat=food, suffer=allow, let=prevent so you would not even know that you need to use the dictionary like oed or websters.
Replenish is a common english word so people will not even know that they need to look up replenish in the dictionary bec they would think that they already know the meaning of replenish which currently means refill rather than fill.

New Life Of Albany Ga. Thank you a lot sir I enjoy your videos
I would be curious as to how extensive the references to election, predestination, and reprobation seeing as how many theologians in the Baptist, et al do not believe in such .
If you could have only one to preach, teach, and study from which would it be: TCRB, Nelson KJV study bible 2nd version, or Scofield? Thanks!
Tcrb
@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa very interesting as a christian how can i have at least one of those bible references ?how and where can i buy it thanks for your help Pastor God bless you and your ministry
What do you recommend for a single column, large print, conservative view , study bible?
Life Application maybe
Cambridge cameo reference
I love the Cameo and Concord for reference.
Thanks for sharing your advice on study bibles. The bible I use daily for reading and study is the ESV Study Bible.
I was curious about the Name of the Pastor that was in the Navy you were talking about?
I don’t like to give that information publicly without their permission.
Another to consider is "The Companion Bible" (KJV) with notes by renowned King's College literary genius (and polyglot) E. W. Bullinger. The "Enlarged Type Edition" sells on Amazon for $40 with about 560 reviews (evidently discerning readers..)
I’ve got a video review of that out.
@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa OK, I kind of thought it was so rare that maybe none knew.. :-) I'll check it out, thanks!
God Bless and Maranatha!
Are those bibles more advanced than the john macarthur study bible?
Just different.
@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa I'm considering the reference bible as well
@@godschild9738 Some like Dake and Dugan topical are going to have more than MaCarthur. May want to check out my reviews on them. God bless!
@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa I will... thank you very much brother and be blessed
How about the Ryrie study bible?
Very good. I've got a friend who says that's the best. He used to teach at IBC, and recommended all students get one.
.Thanks for the info about the editor of Thompson Chain Reference Bible being amillennial.
Our pleasure!
Amen! Thank you.
God bless!
is holman kjv a good study bible?
Pretty good, yes. Did a review a few weeks ago.
New Life Of Albany Ga. Thanks :)
Looking into a Every Mans Bible ( NLT ). Any comments on this Bible?
I was looking at it the other day and the notes seemed very useful.
New Life Of Albany Ga. I'm torn between the Life Application Study and the Every Man's. I like a lot of knowledge and back ground when I am interested in a subject. Can you recommend one over the other?
Life application. In the what is the best study bible video we did, the Life app is my #1 of all.
New Life Of Albany Ga. Thank for your time and patience. Have a great evening. Decision made.
No problem. God bless!
I am struggling to understand the KJV Bible, my brother is going to buy me a Strongs Concordance. My question about the Strongs Concordance is, does it take the place of using a study bible if I use it with my KJV Bible?
Not totally.
Get a nkjv nothing wrong with it!
I’m thinking about the KJV foundation bible. Is that good for a basic study Bible??
Pretty good. I’ve done a review on it.
Just buy ALL OF THEM. 👍
Dakes does have a lot of good accurate info, but he started that whole health and wealth prosperity stuff, some of other parts I disagree on, but all in all its a good tool. What about the Westminster reference bible? I thought about buying it.
I’ve done a couple of videos on Westminster. I like them.
1917 Old Scofield KJV
Kjv is not the best.
@@MusicLover-pq4pi kjv is the very best :)
Music Lover then what is?
I used to use the Scofield wide margin.
What do you Pentecostals think about us Catholics?
Love you!
Love you but your teachings are not of god.
@Samuel Young aman brother
You have a lot of pedophiles as ministers
What's the price?
Varies. I’d check christian Book dot com, Amazon, eBay
Hi have you ever heard of Jay Vernon McGee he preached at a church in California the open door he had a radio program called Through the Bible they still play him on the radio station for time today I think he been gone to rest in the Lord for about 28 years now thank
Wrote some very good things.
Felicia Jones I came across his commentary in the Tecarta bible app and his writings are very good!
what is the best kjv bible for someone who is low vision or leagelly blind?
If you can find a J Vernon McGee Thru the Bible Study Bible, its outstanding, with 15 pt print I think.
Gods Word Study Bible, the "Sword Bible" as people call it, is great also with 15 pt print.
Holman and ABS both have (or had) 18 pt Bibles that were not Study Bibles. Cambridge has a 24 pt print multi volume set.
Of course cds and TH-cam etc are great listening options as well.
Glad you have a desire for God's Word!!! Awesome!
I would get the large print Thompson Chain Reference Bible.
Awesome videos !
Thanks!
What is the best non calvinist study bible?
Premier, KJV Study, Thompson Chain, Dake, Ryrie, NKJV Study

Thank you for your fast reply!!
Life Application Study Bible, the Matthew Henry Study Bible ,The Quest Study Bible, and ,The Word In Life Study Bible are all good study bible.
Amen!
Finnis Jennings dake.
Best is “The common man’s reference Bible “ by David Hoffman and Ruckmans reference Bible!
I’ve done reviews and a comparisons on both!
depends most have false doctrine in it. but i say Thompson chains or anything that teaches the gap or Neilson full color study bible is really good.
I have the 1986 NIV second edition study bible the HCSB apologetics study bible and the KJV full color edition study bible.
Apologetics Study Bible for Students
what is the difference of the Student version and the standard version? thanks

Good evening brother let me hop that work is moving on well and thanks be to God. I have a some questions to ask
What is the meaning of Gnosticism
Preterism
And the other is that when am reading some written information about about the gospels they always refer to Bruce, geiscer I just want to know the writers of these book because they seem to be more useful for reference purposes
Another question is that who wrote expositors Bible commentary because when you ask for these books they always ask for the writers of these books brother
Then another is about mc dowell and Milton.c.fisher what is the names of the books they have written
I will be gratefull if my questions are put under your consideration this is Ben always from united Arab Emirates and thank you for replaying my last question about the best Bible study to use though I have not gotten one yet once again God bless brother
The best study Bible is text only, you and the Holy Spirit to guide and teach.
Nothing at all wrong with pure Word!
This is why I love the Thomson Chain Reference Bible because it is not full of commentary. It just takes you to other scriptures.
I adore my Thomson Chain Reference Bible.
The Complete Jewish Study Bible too is very useful
Amen. I’ve done a review on that.

It’s a good one.
Pastor Waldron, do you have an Email address that I may email you at?
Google our church website and go from there. Thanks!
I have the white 100 year anniversary old scofield
For me its Ryrie Study Bible KJV and MacArthur Study Bible NKJV.
My study bible focuses on the trinity, But I'm Apostolic. Is there any good bible that teaches on the oneness?
The Best: WAP Thompson Chain with 32 pages of Doctrine in the front.
Next: Exploring Gods Word Study Bible w/Doctrinal insert
Next: Search For Truth Study Bible
Next: Apostolic Study Bible
Next: Harris Study Bible
Hope this helps!!
u dont believe in the trinity?
New Life Of Albany Ga. Sorry for my lack of knowledge but do you say that Jesus wasn't God but sent by God?
Jesus is God. In His humanity, He was sent from God.
CSB study bible
I don’t do word aflame
Sir Scofield Bible more precisely small Bible
Interesting.
Dake’s? Really? I own the others but will bypass that one.
To understand completely the language of the KJV, KJV NKJV parallel bible and KJV MEV parallel bible are probably more useful.
Thank you for sharing this site!
I use Dakes and Thompson Chain. Also, the Amplified and Good News. Also Matthew Henry Bible Commentaries.
Dakes made my head hurt when using it i gave it away.
