    Well I’ve had my premier study bible for about 3 days now and have already spent many hours in it. What can I say, it’s absolutely Amazing. I’m loving the print, the notes, the Hebrew references, the beautiful Moroccan cover. Everything about it is wonderful. I also ordered a Dakes at the same time , which I’ve owned before, but I must say even that pails in comparison. So after searching for the best study bible out there for years, I must say the Premier is the greatest one out there to date. Thank you Pastor Waldron for your great work. I found you accidentally and have enjoyed all your videos. Mostly the ones on the Premier study Bible. YHUH Elohim bless you.

    I bought the Thompson Chain Reference Bible today and the Dake Study Bible a couple of days ago (I have been expanding my library this year). After your video, I ordered the New Life Application Bible and the Open Bible. All of these Bibles are KJV, of course! Thank you for all of the info. Between these 4 Bibles and the Study Bibles I already have, I will have everything I am looking for in Study Bibles.

    I have quite the collection of study bibles pretty much all that you have mentioned. The one I currently use most is the Cultural Background s NIV. I don't read the text, but love the insights and facts that make the scriptures come alive in a new way. But my comfort Bible is my Open Bible that I bought in the 80's. I also have the newer versions but for some reason don't care for as much. My trusty old one is less distracting and print quality better. I hope it holds up for the duration of my days lol!

    Dake's Bible is definitely loaded with Scripture, some of the references are misnumbered, even in some of the newer editions. You already mentioned some doctrinal errors, some of them you see in the very verses he refers to. I did enjoy Dake's God's Plan for man, very meaty, again, some misprints with Scripture reference, and a lot of run on sentences, still loaded, it took me months to get through it, especially if one looks up the references.
    Thompson Chain is awesome, I also have the Chain companion Bible.

      @@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa ok thanks Bro Steve. I went back and found your review. Thanks! I have the biography of Donald Stamps the chief writer of the Fire Bible notes and articles, and by all accounts he was an outstanding person. He was a Nazarine preacher before he received the baptism in the Holy Ghost. So he presents some really good information about both holiness and Pentecost. He, like me, was trinitarian but he doesn't push it hard like Dake. So I can see Oness believers using it. He is broader in scope than Dake but doesn't ride hobby horses. It also doesn't come across as argumentative as Dake. In my opinion, it's the best main stream, conservative, clasical Pentecostal bible study aid. I wish they would produce a combined Fire/KJVER bible. That would be awesome.
      Btw, why don't you use your use your expertise and get with a publisher and produce Oness Pentecostal Study Bible? You're a very good communicator of your point of view.

    I like the Nelson giant print King James version that doesn't have a lot of nose but it does have good references and also it is readable which to me a Bible that is too small to read is only good for a doorstop is that. I grew up with the King James version and I'm still fond of the way it sounds and it just something I'm familiar with and the Nelson giant print is not so huge that you can't carry it easily in one hand it's really a work of art unless you just after a lot of study notes which to me the notes were not inspired so in that sense rather worthless also I like the maps in the back of the Nelson and as you say the Nelson print is probably second to none I found it on the Shelf where I've got lots of other Bibles but I'm really fond of it and I've been using it almost exclusively now it's seemingly true that I never met a Bible I didn't like and very few that I didn't buy but that just the way I am I tried to keep first things first. I'm still studying the Oneness movement and I'm still a bit confused I think what I understood is that Jesus is the embodiment of Christ or of God and so he is now the person on the throne in heaven but I don't fully understand that but I'm still studying and appreciate all that you're doing can you recommend a good TH-cam channel to listen to that would help me get a basic understanding of the Oneness movement? If you can find a J Vernon McGee Thru the Bible Study Bible, its outstanding, with 15 pt print I think.
      Gods Word Study Bible, the "Sword Bible" as people call it, is great also with 15 pt print.
      Holman and ABS both have (or had) 18 pt Bibles that were not Study Bibles. Cambridge has a 24 pt print multi volume set.
      Of course cds and TH-cam etc are great listening options as well.

      I don't think we are called to judge others based on them not believing everything that we believe. We are all called to be one. That was the real Lords Prayer that we would be united. Jesus Knew that we would be easily swayed by the finer theological points but he wanted to remind us that we all have the same Jesus. Tired of people dividing based on belief. We need to be uniting on what we have in common, Jesus and loving people.

    There are clearly three separate Beings in unity that all hold the title, God. "One" also means "unity" like when Jesus prayed in Jn 17 for the church to be one with Him and the Father, yet that includes many more bodies that one, as in the amount (Gen. 1:26; 3:22; 11:7; 19:24; Ex. 14:19; 23:20-23; 32:34; 33:1-3; Num. 20:16; Deut. 18:15-19; Ps.. 2:1-12; 8:3-6; 16:8-11; 22:1-31; 34:20; 45:6-7; 68:18; 69:8-9; 89:27; 110:1-5; 118:26; 119:97-104; 132:11, 17; Prov. 30:4; Isa. 7:14; 8:18; 9:6-7; 11:1-5; 42:1-7; 49:1-12; 50:4-11; 52:13-15; 53:1-12; 55:4-5; 63:1-10; Jer. 23:5-8; Ezek. 33:15-18; 34:29; Dan. 7:9-14; Hos. 11:1; Mic. 5:1-6; Hab. 2:7; Zech. 6:12-13; 12:10; 13:6, 7; Mal. 3:1-3; Mat. 1:20-25; 3:9-17; 4:1-11; 12:18-21; 6 16-17; 22:42-46; 28:19-20; Mark 1:10-11; 12:35-37; Luke 1:32-35, 67-80; 2:25-35, 38; 3:22; 11:9-13; 24:49; John 1:31-34; 3:34-36; 14:16-21, 23-26; 15:26; 16:7-17; 20:21-23; Acts 1:1-8; 2:17-21, 33-39; 4:8-12, 24-31; 5:30-32; 6:1-15; 7:1-53; 7:54-56; 8:5-23, 29-39; 9:5-20; 10:2-48; 11:15-25; 13:2-12; 46-52; 15:7-29; 18:24-28; 20:21-35; Rom. 4:1-4; 5:1-5; 8:1-27; 9:1-5; 14:17-18; 15:8-30; 1 Cor. 2:1-15; 3:16-23; 6:9-19; 7:22-24, 40; 12:1-29; 2 Cor. 1:18-23; 3:3-18; 5: 1-10; 6:1-18; 13:14; Gal. 3:1-11; 4:7; 5:16-26; 6:2-8; Eph. 1:3-21; 4:3-32; 5:1-21, 6:6-24; Phil. 1:1-19; 2:1-11; Col. 1:3-8; 1 Thess. 1:1-10; 4:1-18; 5:9-28; 2 Thess. 2:13-17; 1 Tim. 3:15-17; 4:1-10; 2 Tim. 1:6-14; Titus 3:4-7; Heb. 2:1-14; 3:1-12; 6:1-6; 9:6-14; 10:10-18, 26-31; 1 Pt. 1:1-4, 10-25; 3:15-22; 4:13-19; 2 Pet. 1:16-21; 1 John 3:23-24; 4:2-3, 12-16; 5:5-11; Jude 20-21; Rev. 1:4-6, 9-10; 3:1-13, 21-22; 4:1-3; 5:1-10; 11:3-13; 14:12-13; 19:1-10; 22:16-21; etc.).

      If God is a singular Spirit, when you say 3 separate beings, which is never used in Scripture, are there 3 Spirits? 1? In what way are there 3? Is there 1 Jehovah? 3? If you could elaborate! I’ve studied this for years. None of the Scriptures you posted mentioned 3 separate Beings.

    • @TheBlakins1
      @TheBlakins1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All of the above Scriptures clearly show at least 2 Beings, if not 3, but I'll give more if those aren't sufficient proof for you from the Bible.
      English Words used in KJV for Elohim:
      God 2346
      god 244
      judge 5
      GOD 1
      goddess 2
      great 2
      mighty 2
      angels 1
      exceeding 1
      God-ward + 1
      godly 1
      [Total Count: 2606]
      Elohim is plural of ('elowahh); gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus,
      especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to
      magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative :- angels, × exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), ×
      (very) great, judges, × mighty.
      In regard to Mathew 28:19 and Acts only baptizing in the name of Jesus....[in the name of] This
      means "by the authority of." Here it means by the authority of all three persons and not by the
      authority of Jesus only. He is the one authorizing us to recognize the others as well as Himself.
      This will help us to understand Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5. It is by the authority of Jesus Christ
      that we baptize at all, and it is by His authority that we baptize in the name of (by the authority
      of) all three persons.
      [Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost] Some argue that these are not names, but the
      dictionary says that the word name is "any word" or "title" by which any person or thing is
      known. This is not just any Father, any Son, or any Holy Ghost, but it is the Father of Jesus
      Christ, and the Son of the Father, and the Holy Ghost, the third person of the Divine Trinity.
      Any Bible reader would know who these three persons are if mentioned by these names in any
      scripture.
      .................................................................................Over 80 times Jesus affirmed that He was not
      the Father and not the only person in the Godhead. Christ was the speaker, but not the one
      spoken of or to (Matthew 7:21; Matthew 11:27; Matthew 18:10,35; Luke 2:49; John 5:17-43;
      John 8:19-49; John 10:17-37; John 14:7-28; John 15:1-26; Rev. 1:1; etc.). Is it any wonder that
      the Godhead, the Trinity, and the unity of God are so mysterious when we force separate
      persons to become only one person, all because we do not want to recognize the true meaning of
      the word one as referring to unity rather than individuality in some scriptures? People would be
      just as great a mystery if we forced the meaning of all men to refer to one person.

    • @TheBlakins1
      @TheBlakins1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      th-cam.com/video/4Os6OCbdG5QW/w-d-xo.htmlhere is Dake in error here?
      Jehovah, as used in Genesis 19:24, proves at least 2 called Jehovah. Its a clear example of more than one person in the Godhead, and also of the Bible teaching more than one Jehovah. The Hebrew for Lord here is Yehovah. One Yehovah on earth reigned fire and brimstone from another Yehovah in heaven.
      Names of God prove plurality of persons. The Hebrew: Elohiym (OT:430) is the word for
      God in Genesis 1:1 and in over 2,700 other places in the Old Testament It is a uni-plural noun
      meaning Gods and is so translated 239 times (Genesis 3:5; Exodus 22:28; 1 Samuel 4:8; Daniel
      2:11; Daniel 4:6-9; Daniel 5:11,14; etc.). Sometimes 'Elohiym is used with plural verbs and
      pronouns, "the Gods they caused me to wander" (Genesis 20:13), and "there the Gods they
      appeared unto him" (Genesis 35:7).
      Plural pronouns are used of God, proving plurality of persons (Genesis 1:26; Genesis 3:22;
      Genesis 11:7; Isaiah 6:8; John 14:23; John 17:11,22-23).
      First, second, and third personal pronouns are used hundreds of times in Scripture, referring
      to one, two, and three persons of the Godhead in the same sense they are used of men.
      Sometimes the different members of the Deity use them to and of one another in the same sense
      man uses them. In John 17 alone Jesus uses them 162 times in speaking to and of His Father
      (cp. John 14:16-17,26; John 15:26; John 16:7-15). Sometimes singular pronouns are used of the
      whole Godhead of three members as a unity (Exodus 20:3; Isaiah 44:6,8; Isaiah 45:5,21; Isaiah
      46:9; Hosea 13:4), just like the whole church as a unit is spoken of as a man and "he" (Ephes.
      2:14-15; Ephes. 4:13; Ephes. 5:25-27; 2 Thes. 2:7-8).
      "Man is become as one of us" proves plurality of persons (Genesis 3:22).
      Two and three Persons called God have been seen by the same men at the same time and
      places as being separate persons (Daniel 7:9-14; Matthew 3:16-17; John 1:31-34; Acts 7:54-60;
      Rev. 6:16; Rev. 7:9-17; Rev. 21:22; Rev. 22:3).
      Christ is the mediator between God and man, not between Himself and man (1 Tim. 2:5).
      18. Two and three Persons are referred to in every New Testament book (Matthew 3:16-17;
      Matthew 12:31-32; Matthew 17:5; Matthew 22:43-45; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:1-2,10; Mark
      13:32; Luke 1:32-35; Luke 2:40,52; Luke 3:22; Luke 4:1; Luke 4:18; Luke 9:35; Luke 23:46;

      Over 500 Scriptures Proving a Divine Trinity
      There are over 500 plain scriptures that refer to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as being
      THREE SEPARATE AND DISTINCT PERSONS, each with His own personal body, soul, and
      spirit in the sense that all other persons have them. Two and three persons must be understood in
      all the passages below if the plain language is to be understood as it reads, for first, second, and
      third personal pronouns are used in the singular and the plural in the same way that we use them
      in reference to other persons. If two and three persons are referred to in all these passages and
      they are called God, then we must understand them as referring to this many divine persons, as
      we do when the same statements are made of two or three persons of the human race. Note the
      following scriptures:
      Two Persons are Referred to in:
      1. The Pentateuch: Gen. 1:26; 3:22; 11:7; 19:24; Ex. 14:19; 23:20-23; 32:34; 33:1-3; Num.
      20:16; Deut. 18:15-19.
      2. The historical books: Josh. 5:13-15; Judg. 2:1-5. The term, "the angel of the Lord" means "the
      angel from the Lord." The Lord is one person and the angel that comes from Him is another
      person. Both persons are divine, for the angel proves to be God in many of these passages, and
      certainly the Lord who sends the angel is another divine person. See Lesson Six, VI, for many
      scriptures where this term is found. Also, "the Spirit of the Lord" means "the Spirit from the
      Lord." The Lord is one divine person and the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, from the Lord is another
      divine person (Judg. 3 10; 6:34; 11:29; 13:25; 14:6, 19; 15:14; 1 Sam. 10:6; 16:13-14; 2 Sam.
      23:2; etc.). The same is true of the Spirit of God" which is the Holy Spirit who was the agent of
      God and spake by the mouths of the prophets since the world began (Acts. 3:21; Heb. 1:1-2; 2
      Pet. 1:21).
      3. The poetical books: Ps.. 2:1-12; 8:3-6 with Heb. 2:5-8; 16:8-11; 22:1-31; 34:20; 45:6-7;

      Three Persons are Referred to in:
      1. The Old Testament: Plural pronouns are used of God (Gen. 1:26; 3:22; 11:7; Ps. 2:3; Isa. 6:8).
      Elohim, the Heb. word for God in 2,700 places, is a uniplural noun, meaning Gods and is so
      translated 239 times. See point I, 1, above.
      Two persons called God are often referred to, as seen in points 1, 2, 3, and 4, above. Three
      persons are clearly referred to in Ps. 45:6-17; Isa. 10:20-12:6; 42:1-7; 48:16; 59:15-21; 61:1-3
      with Luke 4:18-21; 63:9-10; Zech. 3:8-9, 12:10-13:1.
      2. The Gospels: Matt. 1:20-25; 3:9-17; 4:1-11; 12:18-21; 6 16-17; 22:42-46; 28:19-20; Mark
      1:10-11; 12:35-37; Luke 1:32-35, 67-80; 2:25-35, 38; 3:22; 11:9-13; 24:49; John 1:31-34; 3:34-
      36; 14:16-21, 23-26; 15:26; 16:7-17; 20:21-23.
      3. The book of Acts: Acts 1:1-8; 2:17-21, 33-39; 4:8-12, 24-31; 5:30-32; 6:1-15; 7:1-53; 7:54-
      56; 8:5-23, 29-39; 9:5-20; 10:2-48; 11:15-25; 13:2-12, 46-52; 15:7-29; 18:24-28; 20:21-35.
      4. The Pauline Epistles: Rom. 4:1-4; 5:1-5; 8:1-27; 9:1-5; 14:17-18; 15:8-30; 1 Cor. 2:1-15;
      3:16-23; 6:9-19; 7:22-24, 40; 12:1-29; 2 Cor. 1:18-23; 3:3-18; 5: 1-10; 6:1-18; 13:14; Gal. 3:1-
      11; 4:7; 5:16-26; 6:2-8; Eph. 1:3-21; 4:3-32; 5:1-21, 6:6-24; Phil. 1:1-19; 2:1-11; Col. 1:3-8; 1
      Thess. 1:1-10; 4:1-18; 5:9-28; 2 Thess. 2:13-17; 1 Tim. 3:15-17; 4:1-10; 2 Tim. 1:6-14; Titus
      3:4-7; Heb. 2:1-14; 3:1-12; 6:1-6; 9:6-14; 10:10-18, 26-31.
      5. The General Epistles: 1 Pet. 1:1-4, 10-25; 3:15-22; 4:13-19; 2 Pet. 1:16-21; 1 John 3:23-24;
      4:2-3, 12-16; 5:5-11; Jude 20-21.
      6. The Revelation: Rev. 1:4-6, 9-10; 3:1-13, 21-22; 4:1-3; 5:1-10; 11:3-13; 14:12-13; 19:1-10;
      22:16-21.
      Thus the whole Bible abundantly proves that there are three separate persons in the Godhead, or
      in the "one Lord" and "one God" or Deity; that these three are in absolute unity and "are one" as
      believers are supposed to be (John 17:11, 21-23); and that all three persons have their proper
      place in the creation and redemption of all things, and to each we owe honor and respect in all
      our worship and service to the Godhead.

      Oh I have a list of over 800 references to the trinity. It doesn’t make it true. Strange how the Jews used Elohim, and never came up with a trinity. Abraham didn’t. Moses didn’t. David didn’t. Isaiah certainly didn’t. Yet Jesus said the Jews knew Who they were worshipping in John 4:22-24.
      So the Godhead is so mysterious? Sounds like mystery Babylon to me.
      At least you admit there are multiple Jehovahs in your mind. Deuteronomy 6:4 among many others shows and declares basically Jehovah our Elohim is 1 Jehovah. Now of course Dake whom you cut and paste is a well known tritheist, depicting 3 thrones in heaven, which the Bible clearly contradicts. See Revelation 4:1; 22:3,4 etc.
      Almost all of the references you paste merely show the difference between the Father and the Son. Even Athanasius the supposed father of the trinity showed that. Father being the Spirit and Son being the humanity.
      Still nowhere in Scripture is the terminology used of God as:
      3 Spirits
      3 Persons
      3 Divine Persons
      3 Seperate Persons
      3 Separate co-equal Persons
      3 co-equal Persons
      Trinity
      Trinitarian
      1st Person of the Godhead
      2nd Person of the Godhead
      3rd Person of the Godhead
      God the Son
      Mystery of the Trinity
      Neither dividing the substance nor confounding the Persons
      Isn’t it strange that Paul said He was worshipping the same God he always had, never knowing a trinity?
      The Jews never accused Paul of trinitarianism?
      The word trinity in reference to God is never used until 5 generations after Jesus ascended?
      That an essential doctrine is never used once in Scripture, like trinity or trinity.of persons?
      God is referred to multiplied thousands of times as 1. Every depiction of God is Singular. Only singular words are used to describe God. Western civilization is based on monotheism.
      Cutting edge studies on Second Temple Jewish Monotheism Show the early Church nor the Jews never had any conception of a trinity.
      The Gnostic Valentinus In 149 ad is the first known usage of calling God 3 hypostasis.
      Man, there’s so much more. Try reading Scripture Biblically. God is a Spirit. He is referred to singularly. Jesus is both God and man. Jesus is the Father in flesh.
      I understand Bro Welch and Dake had quite the debates back in the day!

      I believe God is Father/Word/Spirit - 1 John 5:7.
      I would believe these are all speaking of 1 God, and terms such as 1st person, 2nd person, 3rd person, co-equal, co-eternal etc. are non-biblical terms, and can definitely lead to confusion at the very least. I would say the Church was corrupted before the advent of Church councils from its apostolic purity.
      But I would believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, that the Father is God, God is a Spirit, the Holy Spirit etc.
      Complex, but simple. Colossians 2:9, John 14:9, 10; 2 Corinthians 5:19, Deuteronomy 6:4.
      I have videos on the subject.
