I know that Dalmatians are literally a wayyy more aggressive breed then pitbills, but they’re not associated with race, or dog fights so people don’t think of them an an aggressive breed. Pitties get a bad rep.

being mixed and still not knowing how to speak out about global issues, specifically racism, is so difficult going to a predominantly white school and having a handful of black people going to my school. i don’t know how to address things, i don’t know how to speak out about these things, and it’s hard to sit there and speak out about these things and talk about these things and be present in my culture, when i’m not even categorized as a person of color by some of the people i go to school with, have lunch with, and spend personal time with. being seen as someone who isn’t part of something that i CLEARLY am, it’s so difficult to speak out because i don’t want to spread misinformation, i don’t want to say the wrong thing, and it sucks. during the height of the black lives matter movement, i truly had no idea what to say so i spent so much time just sitting back watching everything unfold and happen before me, i got so many texts and calls saying that i wasn’t truly a part of the community and that i wasn’t truly black. i threw myself into trying to be better and it drained me so quickly. knowing that my brother might not have the same opportunities as me, knowing that he might not get into college simply because of his skin color and name, truly killed me. knowing that my sister would be more well off than him due to our names and skin color, made me feel as though i wasn’t doing enough for him. i threw myself into this culture of constantly reposting and sharing and commenting and it honestly killed me. i genuinely have no idea what else i can do to help my community and help people who look exactly like me is so hard.

to me personally, jenna marbles' apology seemed genuine bc she truly centered the people she hurt. she was able to think outside her of white lens and understand that the impact of her mistakes is more important than her content. it's important that white ppl stop accepting apologies that aren't meant for them and stop bestowing what is genuine or not bc it isn't their place.

being mixed and still not knowing how to speak out about global issues, specifically racism, is so difficult going to a predominantly white school and having a handful of black people going to my school. i don’t know how to address things, i don’t know how to speak out about these things, and it’s hard to sit there and speak out about these things and talk about these things and be present in my culture, when i’m not even categorized as a person of color by some of the people i go to school with, have lunch with, and spend personal time with. being seen as someone who isn’t part of something that i CLEARLY am, it’s so difficult to speak out because i don’t want to spread misinformation, i don’t want to say the wrong thing, and it sucks. during the height of the black lives matter movement, i truly had no idea what to say so i spent so much time just sitting back watching everything unfold and happen before me, i got so many texts and calls saying that i wasn’t truly a part of the community and that i wasn’t truly black. i threw myself into trying to be better and it drained me so quickly. knowing that my brother might not have the same opportunities as me, knowing that he might not get into college simply because of his skin color and name, truly killed me. knowing that my sister would be more well off than him due to our names and skin color, made me feel as though i wasn’t doing enough for him. i threw myself into this culture of constantly reposting and sharing and commenting and it honestly killed me. i genuinely have no idea what else i can do to help my community and help people who look exactly like me is so hard.
The way this just makes me so comfortable because like yea a lot of influencers have the same like thought process as you but when a influencer literally says your thought process is so comforting
