Art Toy Collaborations at Designer Con 2015

At this year's Designer Con, we met artist Kyle Kirwan, who shared with us his Willo creature sculpture. In making rotocast resin releases of his figure, he ended up with a bunch of imperfect castings. That gave him the idea to send his figure to other artists, and together they've created this gallery of beautiful sculpts, each with a unique take on the original.

Try social media man! Instagram is a super powerful platform for staring your work. You meet other artists and then through them you meet more people and your circle can grow from that. Site wise, check out bigcartel. It's free to use, and people can just use PayPal (I find etsy turns some people away due to the fact it needs a card linked). I've been selling my work and caricatures like that for about 3 years now, it's a real nice way of meeting other artists and getting feedback!

+Covex PvP Besides the usual social media/etsy there are also lots of great hobby forums and communities online for these kind of things. Probably how this guy got his collab together. If you have a cool project going you can share it and people will be happy to give advice.
