Miami hasn't had Herro. Lost oladipo. Jimmy ankle and knee injury. Gabe ankle injury. Caleb tweaked his knee and Lowry hasn't been 100%. Injuries are a part of the game. I admire Boston for fighting back but you can't use Tatum ankle injury as an excuse. Especially considering how hurt miami has been.
And that would most likely be the reason why Denver is gonna win it all in 4.

Last year i ended up doing a camera job for a St.Louis Cardinals game where I had to tape the post-game interviews in the clubhouse. They ended up losing that game late, and even though it was only a regular season game, it was one of the most uncomfortable experiences of my entire life to be in a losing clubhouse. I can only imagine the tension of a locker room after a playoff elimination

We gotta get tougher.. I know Tatum got hurt on the 1st play but Derrick White was the only 1 taking initiative and playing with aggression consistently. Brown and Tatum's numbers went down for the playoffs, while Jimmy and the Heats numbers went up. That's the story, not the ankle.. This is title town. Our 2 biggest stars have folded in the biggest moments. Smart, Brown and Horford didn't show up either. We looked SOFT!! And Miami was licking their chops at the half. Management has to address our lack of toughness and consider if we want to pay JB 300 million or tweak the roster. If we extend and he underperforms next season, we'll be stuck with a bad contract and still have to pay Tatum a supermax contract the following season. This was a bad way for JB to go into his contract year

He had that breakaway on a Miami turnovers where he spirted up the floor for the easy points, and you just saw the look on his face that that it was painful. I give him credit for fighting through it. You could see him still fighting for rebounds, landing in it, and trying to make his usual moves. But you could tell he just didn't have the burst. It's not an excuse. With the way Boston was shooting tonight and the constant turnovers, I don't think a healthy Jayson Tatum is enough to overcome that. But it was still unfortunate to see.

Well some of those cores are proven champions (Lakers and warriors, bucks) so why would they? The Knicks will most likely will break their core, involving either randle or rj. Brunson will prob stay. This Celtics team has fallen short year after year, so clearly a break up may be needed. Tatum and Brown don’t gel/work as well with each other as Bron and ad and Steph and Dray. This Celtics duo is just take turns isoing. They don’t even operate on the same side of the court ever, they don’t run a 2 man game (PnR/pnp). Just super stagnant.
