- While the Attack On Titan animes ending was quite something, For many people, the manga of attack on titan, was a area where artists especially, would keep their attention, as Hajime Isayama would slowly, but surely, improve drastically and create an art style, that is very unique in the Manga and Anime world.

Yeah, after watching the anime when I went to check the manga I was shocked at how the art in Vol.1 looked quite amateurish, something you would find in an online self-published doujinshi not a published manga ... checking later volumes I was also shocked again at how much he improved and refined his art with each subsequent volume .. for sure the early volumes where mostly carried by the sheer strength of the writing.
"Self published doujinshi" 😭💀💀 Blood got cooked enough let him rest lmaooo
@@LeoArmada It's the truth though, the first few chapters of the first volume where quite amateurish, but if anything it' a testament to his dedication and hard work that he managed to get to where he is now...also a testament to how good the idea and writing were in the early parts of the story.
Great analysis of the art of Isayama, not agreeing on the take of the ending. I think it was a perfect conclusion for the series, sad that many people didn’t understand Eren’s character. But good video overall
Yeah, the manga version of 139 lacked in execution but it was thematically fitting ending whereas the anime has both fitting thematic conclusion and great execution.
You gotta be an npc or something
It completely contradicts his character
Great video, although I will defend Isayama on his use of shading. It was messy and amateur-ish for sure, but it gave the drawings a’lot of energy and motion, which works especially during action scenes and conveying strong emotions like anger or despair. Which honestly can compensate for the lack of detail, at least for me, though he did overdid at times, and I’m glad he improved on it as the series went on.
I wouldve agreed, if the expressions were molded around the faces and were stable, rather that be with the models themselvs, or linework, everything was chaotic and as a resault, its chaos was lost to me, AOT later on, is the perfect example, of what Isayama wanted to do, but couldnt. Same goes with the action, many times, its hard to even tell whats happening, because everything was hatching, down to the linework, its energy, yes, but its as clear as a bomb in a wooden box.
u are so underrated i dont know how your videos dont get the attention they deserve
I love it when anime have their characters look different and not just change hair and eye colour
W video analysis as always L for ending review but you are entitled to your opinion . Good job leo .
Its a good thing i did spill my whole guts about the ending then lmaoo. I was soo tempted
Nice video, and even as someone who liked the ending, all the rants abt it were kinda funny lol
Ending is goated sorry
No its not it's garbage.
@@lxfj2128 Nah, not at all. Everything wrapped up well enough.
@@lxfj2128mind giving reasons
Bruh. We get it. Chill about the ending great video though
I always found that when this series tried to be "funny" or humorous, it felt like an alien trying to mimic something they saw on tv. The artwork especially didn't match it. The series was far too dark, dense(as far as wording), and self-serious to do that. I bring this up because every time I see a manga panel from this series, it brings me back to the time I tried to read it. I got far past the first few volumes of course, but it felt off. Maybe by design, I guess.
Aside from that, have you read any of Kengan Ashura yet?
Man a lot of people want me to read Kengen huh....I will....soon, and make 2 vids on it aswell.
Loved the art analysis. The constant asides about your opinion on the ending were pretty cringe tho. Keep your videos more focused on the actual topic of the video
If i could throw in a Toby Spider Man gif here, i would
Pretty nice video.
The ending hate however, not so much.
ending was great to those who understand aot and it's character's😊
amen
There's no way you actually have a brain after that statement
@@ciprisadthere is no way your talking about brains while objectivying an opinion like if his talking about law physics
grow up bruh, learn that there is something called rationality and the difference between an a stupid and an intelligent is who use it,i mean your statement throws any way of discussion out of the window with the "its garbage" buddy thats not a physic law were talking about, give reasons why then we will talk
(this comment was long for no particular reason)
@@birdduck3314ending completely ruins erens character if you actually like it you are npc who eats up anything with nice animation and music
@@yourdad02 thinking about it i kinda agree the ending was pute garbage
I always love seeing your video about artistic evolution of a manga. It makes me feel great that you make such video for AOT. Isayama art style has a charm to it and seeing it evolve is astounding. I know people keep complaining about your take on the ending, but I actually respect it despite loving the ending myself.
It's normal for people to have different opinion or analysis on something and I'm pretty sure the ending is by no means flawless, but I still like it. Anyway, I really appreciate your view on both of this topic so keep up the good work.
Thats a lot better, to say that you see its flaws, but YOU still like it. If people could word stuff better, the anitube space would a lot better. (Jokes are jokes, if my vids I exadurate things and make jokes, thats what makes a lot of things, less boring. Ending in my eyes is ass, but in your eyes its good, thats what it comes down to and thats good)
W art takes, L on reading comprehension ending takes
Great vid
Best work for Isayama
bro can we get a jojo one dude that would be fire 🙏
New gen mangas(like jjk ,csm,Ds)are drawn traditionally or digitally?
CSM is drawn digitally im 100% sure, as for JJK, its possible, Ds not so much
@@LeoArmada what about Black Clover?Just wondering
Great analysis. Personally, I think Yams artstyle was best during the Return to Shiganshina arc (coincidentally that's when his writing was at it's peak) I don't mind the rough earlier panels that are almost unreadable since they do have a little charm to them. Post time skip towards the end of the manga I was actually quite put off by the art style, specifically with character designs and sometimes the faces too, it just wasn't very pleasing to look at in my opinion and that might have to do partly with how much of a joke the writing becomes and the cursed final chapter, I don't think I can take the story seriously ever again.
For me too i think that arc was peak aot in every single way, later it just honestly was way worse even in my eyes.
AOT> One Piece (no competition)
I dont mind one piece but i do love every aot chapter except the final 10 pages so its still a 9.9 out of 10
Try kagura bachi's art evolution next!
I feel like its waaaaay too soon. maybe after 100-150 chapters
Could you do takuzo nanago the character designer of Inazuma eleven
Sometimes that how it be, maybe you could say isayama was a garden variety idiot who picked up the pen
I thought this video was about the evolution in the art style, not your take on the ending 😂 I mean, you're entitled to your opinion, but jesus you made it clear at the beginning, didn't need to keep whining through the video lol
please make hunter x hunter one!!!
