Great idea protecting those batteries... I was surprised how much they are... I've seen DIY camper vans use regular batteries (with an inverter)... Is that the cheapest way to go???... Meadow is awesome!!! I saw the live stream yesterday where she wanted your food, desperately... I also love your wood heated hot tub... Great ideas you have Brian.🤗🤗🤗
Get some cold blue solution, like birchwood casey, and rub it all over the stove, it will nuetralize the rust and actually turn it into a nice rust resistant blue. You'll have to oil it afterwards (with some cookimg oil) which will require taking the stove outside and cooking it off before burning it in your home again, though.
@OffGridBackcountryAdventures same, I live in the frozen, north central BC, Canada. I love the toasty warm woodstove. I'm from the Carrier nation. My name is Val
@@OffGridBackcountryAdventures um no, I'm not feeling well, so I spent the day watching my favourite TH-cam channels. Your channel is spectacular views.
Paint that stove with some rustoleum semi-gloss grill paint; all of my smokers and grills are still running outside uncovered, and no rust here in Florida. I have to repaint them every three years, but if they were covered, they would last for 30 years...
How much room you got under that uninsulated area under and behind the bed storage, could you insulate it out and make a spot for the batteries under the bed? or it's kind of small?
Gotta keep warm in winter

Thank you, it's been working pretty good for a couple of years now. Love having wood stove heat in my camper on really cold days!

Yo!
I guess I value my life more than some. Doesn’t look very safe to me.
Specifically what are your concerns?
