My mom was the 11th of 12 kids who grew up in a 2 bedroom house. This makes me appreciate how hard she worked in the kitchen daily. I wish she could have had your beautiful kitchen
You are such a caring lady. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Where I live, I don’t know of anyone that would do that. We lost everything when the neighbor had a huge tree cut down by people who didn’t know what they were doing. The tree smashed through our house while we were in it and hurt my wife and my youngest son. We lost everything. It was in the paper and NOBODY offered to help us at all. We have no family here and the family I have wouldn’t help us. (We’re not close, long story).
God bless people like you that will help others out. Thank you for being you.
Becky and you are two of the most inspiring ladies on the homestead, even for us older ladies, you all never stop teaching us new things!keep up the awesomeness!❤
Thank you for the sweet words, Linda!
Becky from Acre Homestead. I seen her video where she was so excited about seeing you and showed a picture of you and her
Becky and mum are coming great what a treat
@@JamerrillStewart which of the freezer meal packs on the site would be best for a postpartum mom to get? I wanna freezer prep a bit before baby gets here, just not sure which packs to choose!
I love how Jamerrill stops while doing her videos and shows love to her children when they want her attention. I know Becky is going to be a great Mom too! Love both of their videos!
Hi I just watched your story bout your growing up and I can't stop crying thankyou 💓 for sharing and still loving Jesus yes and amen 💖
lol, you need to incorporate a dumbwaiter from your basement to your upper floor! Girl, what a haul!
It’s Becky, from Acre Homestead!!! I saw the pic she posted, BUT we she said that she and her mom were going to a special friend and fellow TH-camrs. I told my husband that ‘it’s Jamerril!!! I know who!!! I know it is.
And when she and mom were talking about it the trip, I really thought to myself, I wonder if they will visit with you, Yes-and-Amen!!!!
I just love you Jamerril Stewart!!!! Down to earth, love in your heart for your husband, friends, the Lord, and mostly to me, the love for your children. You are a great roll model and a great inspiration.
Thank you for doing such a great job teaching us how to cook for a large family while always protecting the privacy of your children. It is so refreshing to see a TH-camr with children actively protecting them and avoiding exploitation! ❤❤❤
Yes, and amen!! I really respect this about their family/channel. 👏🏼
You truly are providing such a service for so many Mamas! You'll never even know how many you bless regularly. May the LORD Jesus Christ continue to bless you. Always put Him first.
I don't have kids or a family to cook for. I love watching your channel and relaxing at night. It reminds me of sitting at the kitchen counter and chit chatting while my mom cooked
You can still make things and freeze can etc!
@@debjarvie-sexton1609 I did that not so long ago when my friends grandmother had a fall. I made and froze meals they could just heat in the oven. It worked really well. I totally forgot I've done the breakfast sandwiches too! They worked really well. Might be time to do it again!
men! it is a full time job feeding human beings. shout out to all the mamas of the earth. hat tip and a nod to y’all. 😊👏🏽👏🏽
It's Becky and her Mom! What a fun time you must've had! Can't wait to see that content. You guys are my absolute favorite!
We only got one picture ❤. She shared the picture in a recent video. I shared the picture in my IG Stories. I filmed this video a few days before she and her momma came to visit. It was a wonderful 3 or so hour visit. I gave them the animal and farm tour. We drank tea in the kitchen. And we chatted up food, farming, and lots of TH-cam. 🎉❤🎉
Absolutely love watching yours and Becky’s channel! Your both my favorites!!!!❤
I want to say the freeze dryer was a gamechanger
Becky and her mom! I love her ❤❤❤❤
Jamerrill you are my fav. I watch you after work. My job is stressful and I’m a single momma of 2 teens. You help me forget about stress and refocus on being the best momma I can be. Many blessings to you and your family!
Katie, thank you so much for sharing these encouraging thoughts with me. I’m glad the videos offer you a chance to chill out and relax a little bit. Good job on being a great mama!
I love these videos, my son was born at 27 weeks these videos got me through the nicu stay and helped me save money and have meals easy to throw in the oven when we would come home at night from the nicu…. When we got to bring our son home it was a life saver to have meals in the freezer while dealing with a baby on oxygen and house life
I Truly Thank you for fixing those extra meals for other mothers/father's that may need them in a hard time. I have been dealing with sepsis for 4 years and we have a momma's lasagna club that makes meals just like this for family's that need a little help like that. And let me be the first to tell you they are truly a blessing. Because there are days I'm unable to lift my head off of the pillow. So again I Thank you for that a million times over!
So sorry you are experiencing chronic sepsis! Praying for a full healing!
Yesss girl!! Help me get through this preserving day! Yaaaaa its Becky and her mom!!
Yes! And Amen!!!!!
Becky from
Acre Home stead and her wonderful Mama. Can't wait!!!!!
I'm watching this video in carline and I just want to say that I love love love that your kitchen is used and lived in and not magazine perfect. I love that your counters stay full of this and that. It makes me feel so much better knowing that a used kitchen looks like a used kitchen and not like most influencers bare kitchens. That is all, thanks for keeping it real Jammerill!
I love Becky, and now you too, such inspirational ladies.
It's hard to believe that you preserved and created so many dishes in the baby kitchen... what a dream come true to have way more elbow room!
My grandma was my canning teacher. She loved to look at the finished jars. She always said they looked like jewels in the jar. It's very satisfying.
Becky and her momma. You two are my faves!!!!
It was glorious!
Becky from Acres Homestead and her mom! I love Becky and she is actually how I found you. I love all of you and think it's wonderful you were able to hang out!
Becky from Acre Homstead!!!! Y'all are my 2 favorite TH-cam creators !!!
Watching you work your magic in that beautiful kitchen makes my heart happy. You are such an inspiration.
I love your SHIRT! Too cute mama! I started the year as a mother of 6 and we are adopting three babies this year! I NEED this this week. Cooking for large families is an ART! I am so glad you are leading the charge and with a joyful heart. Blessings! :)
Wow, wow! Awesome! ❤❤❤
You know you're a big family mama when you say "it ONLY calls for 13lbs of ground beef" lol. As a person who cooks for a family of 4 (but cooks enough for 8) I found this so funny and cute!
I’m so broken that it doesn’t sound like a lot 😂😂😂
Just look at that beautiful mega mama kitchen working hard for the family. I love it. Congratulations Jamerrill, Travis and all the kiddos.
Becky AND her mamma!!! She seems just as amazing and Becky. Some of my favorites
Yes, her momma is just as amazing!!
I just love watching your videos and how you cook and can. I sure wish we had the internet 37yrs. ago. It would have been awesome to reach out to other moms for support and ideas. Thanks for all you do!!
Becky!!!! Acre Homestead!!!!! So amazing!!!
Yay Becky oh boy the 2 of you together could make magic
Yes! I just adore Becky 🌻
It's Becky...Acres Homestead
Yes I saw that. I follow her too!
I hope, I hope!!!!!
I just love you energy. You just exude calmness. And I know I need this energy in my life. ❤
Jammerill, I don't know where you get all your energy but I could use some of that now. You're such a hard worker and so well organized.
Becky, so glad you guys have met
Becky from acre homestead!!! I love her, you two are probably the two TH-cam cooking channels I absolutely love to watch. You both keep it real, and make some of the most amazing recipes, and know how to keep a well stocked pantry.
I love your videos and your beautiful kitchen! Thank you so much.
As a mama of 11 and someone that loves to share and cook, I have never gotten into the freezer cooking meals; you have inspired me to start this up! I've been watching you for years! Freezer batch cooking can't wait!
You can use this as extra content for your channel. That way you get both videos and homemade meals for your family 🤍🤍
@@infjandcoping4614 this is how I started.. it was just me and my son so I didn’t need huge things but cooking a little bit extra to freeze and have another day really came in handy during sport seasons! ❤
All kiddos grown just him and me but oh I love freezer meals, you will too!
@@atdepaulis I wish I would have done the freezer cooking when my older two were in all their activities. I did have a rotation of 30 minute main dish meals and several hour+ oven meals that I could have cooking but that was mainly for winter time. Instant pot was super helpful with my youngest and I did not have a freezer.
I wish I had someone near me like you, you are an amazing blessing to this world
Those Dollar Tree metal paper towel holders are great for your canning jar rings. I've got two full and I'm going to get more. When not in use I store them on the paper towel holder so they're ready to go. Love them.
A LOT OF WORK FANTASTIC VIDEO.HAVE A BLESSED DAY.
My heart warms thinking of you and Becky together. Its gonna do her new momma heart so good to be in your established momma heart space and flow.
And she has such a wonderful mama as well! I know she is surrounded with so much love and support both off-line and online ❤❤❤
Jamerill you look so nice today. Love your ponytail. Your kitchen is amazing for all you do.
You two ladies really are my two favourite. I feel like a long distant friend visiting your kitchens . Make the momma with bad health inspired to do something no matter how little. Thank you for letting me visit so often lol love from Scotland xxx
I love your new kitchen it looks so yummy you got a bigger stove it looks so good I'm so happy for you guys
From a fellow homesteader, it has been fun watching your kitchen and lives transform on this property! You are doing an amazing job balancing everything!
Thank you for the encouragement! You know it’s all a slow work in progress 😊❤
Finally getting to catching up on your videos. You're making my heart happy. ❤️
Becky and her mom. I love her channel. I have learned so much. It's to the point my 18 year old son says "Let me guess you learned that from Becky." Lol
I'm really enjoying the music in this video today... it's just relaxing!
You are the best mama!!! Thank you for blessing us with an inside view of your life and these amazing meals! Most importantly, thank you for blessing us with YOU!!!!
I saw Becky and her mum visited you, so excited... It was because of Becky that I started watching you Jamerrill... love you both 💝
Becky and her mom from Acre Homestead!!! Looking forward to the video.
The second squash you bought is called “butternut squash” in the UK. I buy these all the time and make soup (I just add 1 potato, 1 onion, stock cube and seasoning per butternut, boil all together for 15 minutes or until soft)blend until smooth, so nice!
They also make great roast potatoes which I batch cook and freeze. When I want them for a dinner I pop them in a hot oven straight from the freezer for 15/20 minutes depending on size and they’re all done.
I batch cook differently to you, I will batch cook 20lbs of potatoes into mash or roasts or wedges and freeze in portions. I also batch cook bacon, sausage, pies, tray bakes. I prepare pasta in a basic tomato and pesto sauce and freeze that in portions. When we want to eat it the individual can then choose if they want bacon, sausage, roast chicken, cheese or something else added to it with salad and garlic bread. 😊
I love butternut squash roasted with sage. We call it the same thing here in the states 😃
Love that ponytail looks Jamerrill!
You and Becky are my all time favorites!!
Fresh home canned nothing better. You have a big beautiful kitchen to. Create all this perfection. You are blessed beyond measure.🥰💚
Becky and her mommy, yay!!! They were so excited to visit you and your so excited to see them, love it!!
Yes, I was definitely excited to meet them! When I filmed this, I had just got off of chat with her and we had just planned all the details so the excitement was super high! 🎉
Becky and her mum… that was fantastic… love Becky…
Caution on the pressure cookers under your cabinets. The steam destroyed my upper cabinets!
Great video yet again!
I’m so happy that you and Becky had the opportunity to meet and visit some. You are amazing, she is amazing, so that equals super extra amazing to see you together in the same space. When Becky mentioned in one of her videos that she would be seeing a friend while she was in Virginia, I started wishing for that friend to be you. And much to my delight, it was❣️The inspiration I get from each of you is immeasurable. Thank you 🙏🏻 so much for being you, Jamerrill. I’m glad I found you, and I’m so grateful to have you in my life 😊. You and Becky are the only TH-cam friends I need. Between the 2 of you, all my boxes are checked and my social media life is fulfilled ❤️ Again, thank you and Amen 🙏🏻
It was a super wonderful visit!
Pears are great when you add 6 (or so) wholes cloves in the jars. Great lightly spiced pears!
You. Are. Awesome!
I think it’s Becky….. 🎉 I love that you have this beautiful kitchen. It seems so much handier for you to do all this mega canning. I can see how much nicer it is for you to have all this space for all the things that are needed when doing these huge canning projects. So happy for you. You waited for such a long while and now you have it. It’s magnificent. You are such a good wife & mother working later into the night to prepare for your family.❤Until next time take care.🎃
Thank you so much, Carolyn! 🤗
Yes it was Becky! 🎉🎊❤❤
What a great kitchen for you. Much better than your other one. Happy for you. You are an inspiration. God blesx
Yay! Hi Jamerrill, your my favorite mega Momma! I love to watch you do all the things, you inspired me to do my own vegetable garden (I'm in New Zealand) so I just planted my seedlings I grew myself, I'm so proud, I've never done that before and I can't wait to do some freezer cooking Jamerrill style! Thank you for inspiring me 💛
I so enjoy watching you and learning so much…..thank you!
Ahhh, this is just the video to watch on a PERFECT fall VA evening, while I cook our own supper. Thank you for all you do!
You have got to be in high heaven with your new kitchen!
You are on blessed Lady!!!
I so enjoy watching. Thanks. For all the content and food hacks and meals.
I love your heart and your willingness to share with a friend if needed......lots of work and love goes into those meals....you are awesome!!
Becky! With Acre Homestead! You both have inspired me to cook more at home and from scratch!
Its Becky! Acre Homestead. Love love love her! ❤
Canning and preserving is awesome!! Love your freezer meals
Hey Jammerill, I haven't watched your channel in a long time since your family moved into your new house. I am so happy that you came around again on my youtube notifications. It's been rough and I needed your kind spirit and your mega cooking videos. Thank you so much!!!!! Missed ya so much.
❤❤❤❤❤love the sound of your calm voice Jamerrill! Thank you for being you!
Eee! I know! I know!! It’s Becky from Acre Homestead! I saw her mention the visit when she went to VA for the homesteaders of America convention a couple weeks ago! So happy you guys got to visit! You’re my two favorite TH-cam ladies.

I could use some too.
So excited for canning season. Are you planning on doing pickles in the future? Having a tough time. My kid's love Milwaukee baby pickles. The dye has been an issue and so many others use it too. I need mama help.
I love the deeper aluminum pans. Because when frozen they have a little better ability to stack and not slide after frozen. Plus when heating they don’t boil over and cause a mess!
I love Becky.. Hope you ladies had a fantastic time!!!
We had so much fun!!
I get so excited for you when I see your kitchen and all your cookers and pans etc. I remember when my daughters friends was complaining about doing dishes for her family of four. Kari Beth looked at her and said until you have washed dishes that looks like a town just ate at a Shoneys breakfast bar then you can complain! Lol. There was 11 of us. No matter how many you cook for having what is needed to cook it in makes ALL the difference.
I don't can or cook much just for me 😉 but love watching you. Also an amazing story of your life when young and how successful you are now. Also very loving with your family. Thank you for all you do ❤️
Thank you, Pamela ❤
Nothing better than fresh pears..pear chutney
Love your videos! Have you considered using a cart on wheels for moving jars and food around your kitchen? Many are available online. Keep up the wonderful work❤️
Hi Jammerill, when Becky (whom we absolutely love) mentioned you, my wife and I knew we had to check you out and now you and Becky have become 2 of our favorites. We just love watching your videos!!
Awesome! Thank you! I'm so glad you found me over here 😃
It was so cute to see how excited Becky was to meet you and now getting to see how excited you are to visit with her! You two are my most watched homesteading channels!
It was all very exciting and we had such a lovely time 🎉. I hope we get to spend more time together in the future!
Freezer Tip: I use a pair of cotton gloves to help keep the cold off my hands when I am rearranging the freezer. Helps me. Hope it might help you.
Me: Jammerill you missed a spot on the counter.
Also me: realizing I have a speck on my phone.
I know I'm late, but you have an amazing new kitchen, J! Absolutely stunning. You definitely deserve your dream kitchen!
I already saw on Becky's channel where y'all got to meet! I was so happy to see y'all together! It would really be great if one day in the future y'all could actually get together again and cook together in your new mega Mama kitchen!!! You both are my favorite TH-camrs!!!
Yes, maybe we can work that out in the future 😊
Her video already came out! Precious Becky! So sweet!
Becky from Acre Homestead is my guess. Only because I think she already shared it in her HOA videos.
I just love Becky and her mom and so happy to know she went visit with ya!! Great times!! I cant wait for your video!! 🙂
You probably know, but don't stack your jars in storage. You could have a seal failure but due to the pressure from stacking, it could reseal after allowing air inside. You might not taste anything off and still get very sick.
Edited to add: I'm not sure, but even just stacking them while waiting for them to be put on the shelf could be bad for the seal
Thanks for letting me know 😅
@@JamerrillStewart You can actually stack one layer with cardboard in between.
Becky from Acre Homestead! Love her channel!
Beautiful things I love the freeze dried goodies in the jars! Girl you did awesome on that applesauce and those pears are beautiful! Love it
I am saving for one of those freeze dryers !
This is what I’ve been waiting for to watch you ❤cook big meals love watching you and your family God bless you
Love watching your videos. Your very inspiring. Just started my homestead on 90 acres in Alberta, Canada. Congratulations on your new kitchen, it looks well loved and beautiful. I've been watching and taking note for the last 5yrs
90 acres is amazing 🎉
You remind me of Mega Mama with the endurance and time management ,multitasking of a nurse, while looking awesome every time.I would've been a red hot sweaty mess, hair a mess,etc...you are such a great example to us,and a great teacher..
Just my opinion after twenty-five years of canning fruit on my own and twenty years of helping my mom and grandma before that, but almost every fruit except pears is good with a light or medium syrup, generally medium really, unless you are a very low sugar household or know that the fruit is very sweet. Since the recommendation is to do slightly underripe pears for canning which are not very sweet, and based on experience, I would recommend a heavy syrup. When I was an adult and got married, we tried light syrup the first year, because I thought we were going to be all healthy and everything, but we didn't like it and we ended turning it into pear sauce with more sugar and some cinnamon, and medium syrup the next year and that was okay, but it wasn't a hit, so again more pear sauce.
The next year we ended up with a heavy syrup and it was good. Extra heavy syrup is always too much for us, it's basically pancake syrup minus the maple extract. Just canning in water is unappealing and I feel it always discolors after about 6 months even if it has been treated with a lemon juice or citric acid bath. And if the fruit did not have as good a flavor as it should have to begin with it is not going to taste any better.
I've also tried using honey instead of sugar, when I had kids in grade school, again to be healthier, and it's just a real pain in the neck to work with. You end up with stickiness all over the place, including the jar, combined with just one swipe to get hair that has come loose out of your face and then trying to get your fingers out of your hair. Only it's never one swipe, but you don't learn that lesson because you are frazzled trying to keep an eye on the kids (and I only had to deal with two underfoot) and get everything done in the kitchen. It takes a lot longer for honey to dissolve into the water for the syrup when you just want to get on with it and after the second or third time doing it, you are just so over it. It eats up time you don't want or have to waste.
I don't recommend juice unless it is from the same fruit you are canning. Apple juice will alter the taste of the fruit, especially softer fruits like pears, peaches, apricots, and nectarines. Plums, cherries, and grapes hold up well against apple juice. Pineapple should only be canned in pineapple juice. Syrup alters the taste too much.
Becky!!! I love her as much as you!!! She has taught me so much about homesteading.
