- The New Jersey dad charged with murdering his 6-year-old after forcing him to do abusive treadmill workouts is not planning on testifying in the trial. Corey Micciolo died from blunt force trauma and lacerations to his heart and liver, according to autopsy reports. His father, Christopher Gregor, forced his son to run on a treadmill in March 2021. The workout was captured on surveillance video, which shows Gregor continually increasing the treadmill’s speed, causing his son to fall off it face-first about six times.

The problem that they don't say in the video is that it is incredibly common for people to report their partners for similar things all the time. Therefore, it is difficult to determine when it is serious. And this will most certainly happen again and again.

This is joke this doctor has been paid off
it is literally the only reason he's there, the defense is paying him. Some of these "expert witnesses" are highly unethical and will give whatever interpretation of the evidence the defense wants as long as the paycheck clears. Now of course the expert for the prosecution is paid as well but it's by the state and isn't nearly as much as the defendant will be paying an expert witness.
@sandragill Not paid off, but he's paid. He's a paid expert. So you're right, people seek out experts that they know will testify in their favor. But it's not a back-door secret. And they probably asked/will ask him on cross-examination how much he was paid to testify

He did not deserve that little angel
The doctor on the stand said he was 55-60% certain of his diagnosis of what caused Corey's death which to me would indicate that he is not sure of his diagnosis at all. He was not informed of much of the evidence prior to writing his report. There were blood tests taken literally hours before his death showing no infection in Corey. And the autopsy showed abrasions and lacerations that he claimed were caused by CPR... never have seen pediatric CPR given on a child's back. There was also bite marks and multiple bruises documented by Corey's pediatrician on the day before he died. My heart is sick at what happened to that precious child at the hands of the sperm donor who decided to end his life.
Actually, he gave 3 possibilities
1. Sepsis due to pnuemonia
2. SIDS like (on children)
3. CPR

Never knew pneumonia was an instant disease with no trace of it, just under 24 hours prior. Even in just these photos they just showed, it seems like the child had a lot of brusing to be explained.

It’s really sad. I think he truly hated Corry because he looks so much like his mom every time he looked at him he seen Brianna and every time he was mad at Brianna he would take it out on Corry. I think that day he was trying to beat out of Corry what he told the doctors and Corry was trying to tell him he didn’t say anything, but he truly beat him to death and found out in court that Corry was telling him the truth.

So, his reputation makes him right? He testified for OJ, helped him get off, and later discussed how he regretted his testimony and that he was wrong on two key points. No one is infallible. And in this case, there was a lot of evidence he didn't have when he was making his report. The defense withheld all evidence of the past abuse.
