This was a fun pack to build, I watched Moonraker while doing so. I plan on doing pack 8 tonight and watch For Your Eyes Only. I've been watching Bond movies while working, it's therapeutic. One thing for others, make sure you carefully select the correct clear part for the gauges. The one that is flattest is the one the gauge stickers stick to. I also just got a 48 compartment organizer for all the screws, my goodness this kit has so many different screws!
I had trouble fitting the interior section since there were too many cables where the drive shaft is located as well. Re arranged them a little different but still not a very nice fit, hope nothing is pinched somewhere😢
I’m curious about the “vertical” (i.e. looking like it’s on its side) radio. Was that a feature on ‘real’ DB5s? Was such a configuration generally more common in cars of that era?
Hay ya Wayne... How much better is the mechanism for this ejector seat compared to the "Gold Finger" version... I remember you said that one was horrible and didn't work... This one doesn't seem to go high at all... But how is it overall... If I were to get either of these DB5's... I'd put a smaller coil spring so that it's the same length as the one you put in... But that has much much more tension to it to get that seat to really fly out at a good height... If you remember when Sean Connery ejected that guy in "Gold Finger"...at least the guy cleared the roof by about 10' to 15' feet... Given it was a dummy they shot out of the car... That was obvious...lolol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 So to scale it would clear the roof by about 7 and a half inches... Best regards mate...😊

That ejector looks very close to the EM version except for the way the locking mechanism works on the bottom side. Something the EM had many issues with

There are a kit of problems PROBLEM 1) STICKERS GETS DESTORYED RIPPED TORN SCRACHED Up you name it PROBLEM 2 STICKERS FALL OFF the GLUE DIED BOING FALLS OFF PROBLEM #3 the brand name that use the STICKERS way too much is LEGO when LEGO gives up 2 GIANT SHEETS of STICKERS that cost $10.00 USA DOLLARS PER SHEAT and its got 2 SHEETS they can all falls off at the same time. the production line ended so you call LEGO to buy a new set #1 and #2 sorry its RETIRED try to avoid using stickers do your research if it come with any stickers before you buy it. I deal with stickers my entire life so far I HATE THEM ALL ROYAL PAIN IN THE ASS!!!! WHO THE BLOODY HELL INVENTED STICKERS I forgot there is a 3RD PROBLEM GETTING ON PROPERLY there is NO 2ND CHANCE forever gets on the first time in the wrong position then find out that got to be movedto the proper position then the stickers tears. and the picture in the manual is not telling the full sotry where to put it how many times LEGO cock that up? I lost count.tehre is a clue you need to use a sticker a PICTURE of USE STICKER CLUE with a NUMBER then a arrow telling uoi put it where ver its pointing two. LEGO simply tell you go figure it out on your own LEGO GIVE UP you can easy put it UP SIDE DOWN and in the WRONG POSTION and you do not kown that had happened What can I say? its all about TIME and MIONEY so It gets RUSHED a job that normaly takes 2 hoursto do. you got 1 second to do it. make it a good one .
