The BEST National Park I've been to so far...

  • At the start of September, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Glacier National Park in Montana, USA for the first time. We were only in Montana for 5 days total but managed to squeeze in a number of different hikes in Glacier as well as a visit to Whitefish Mountain and Jewel Basin. I highly recommend heading to east Glacier and doing the Iceberg Lake trail but you can't go wrong with even the more touristy hikes like Trail of the Cedars to Avalanche Lake or Hidden Lake or St Mary Falls if you're looking for something shorter.
I knew I had missed mountains but didn't realise quite how much until I got there. This was my first time flying anywhere, and particularly travelling to see mountains, since February 2020 when I was in Colorado for a few days. Mountains are good for my soul. I can't wait to get back there and do some more hiking but I think Washington or Oregon are next on my list.
