Ahhh! This vlog was like a good short movie, especially with you guys around the campfire. You guys are the perfect hosts. I’m sure Johnny had an awesome time. I agree with Peter. Everyone does need a friend like Johnny. He got you guys to try different things and you guys showed him many things. I hated to see him leave as I’ve enjoyed this series. I have hot been making comments on the videos but I have been watching all of them. They have been very enjoyable. All the different visits to different areas. All very well done. Every still water in Europe looks like this. We all swim in those lakes and artificial lakes. It is brown coz of soil in it. When it rains the soil is moved so the water is brown. We fish, we swim, only thing you never should do is drink it. Everything else is fine, no one ever got sick. People actually catch diseases in pools, from rashes to all kinds of bacterias coz too many people use it and also pees in it. Swimming in this is same as swimming in the sea and ocean or in a river...
Yes exactly, don't worry Greg. We don't have brain/flesh eating bacteria or anything here, the water is ok. This one even has an inflow and outflow from the river, so it's not stale 🙂 Our European nature in general is very inviting and you don't have to worry much here.
All perfect, but we expected an American-style barbecue from Johnny's. Succulent beef steaks, pork chops and ribs with barbecue sauce, chicken leg and wings, ribs and pulled pork, frankfurters with ketchup and mustard, tenderloin and sirloin. "American Barbecue". And what about fashion? "The complex simplicity of the 2023-24 Haute Couture shows stirred great reflections together with the least amount of "wow effect" You guys are really funny, keep it up you are on the right track. I laughed my butt off when Peter said no they are suffering, they hate noise coz just 2 days ago Miron said same when I suggested to go paragliding and how it seems fun and people enjoying it.. and the dinner around fire when Tommy "screamed" coz flying pest attack him, there is always someone in such evenings who is affraid of those bugs, but seriously I hate them too, they are so annoying, they struck you in the face, eyes, I even almost swallow one at one occasion, coz while I was talking it struck me in the open mouth. Johnny should just move to some EU country close to you, he would have health insurance and not be so tense and anxious and afraid of nature coz he always thinking of possible injury. I prefer the health care system we all have, you can always have extra insurance and pay more if you want, but paying thru taxes and using when need it is a way to go. I can't imagine living in fear of injury and how much would it cost. We are more free to swim, bath, walk etc than Americans coz we know if anything happened we are covered, but still it does not mean we take insane risks. Btw me and my cousins are going at the end of a month to Slovakia, to place called ilava, we located the church and talked to someone there who told us they do have records all the way to 1600 I think and that majority of records prior to 1900 are archived on micro films. But I discovered that smaller places around that county/city also go under its jurisdiction and that for everyone back then birth place was ilava, so the person told us judging by surname we want to research that our great grandfather probably was from a place called pružina or prusina( did not get that one good) coz he got one surname probably written by hearing, but his kids and everyone else have different version but prounoncation is similar and sounds almost same. and in Croatia is less than 50 people with it and all related. And funny thing is in his birth certificate surname definitely comes from pružina but from Croatian ones is Prušina. we hope we will solve at least one mystery and most insane thing was when person from that church said oh I can assure you, I am 100% sure you do have living relatives in Slovakia and some probably are still in that same place, older ones and someone knows the story around him how and why he left so young and alone.. Btw any suggestions what we must see in Slovakia? We plan to go to Bratislava, so anything on a way from Ilava to Bratislava worth seeing we would like to check. We are not familiar to Slovakia at all, we will check places such are on tourist maps but I bet there are things worth seeing which are not on tourist maps, so any suggestions? Omg, I know Pružina - it's a village, once I was on vacation there with my grandpa. There is pretty nature, nice mountains 😊 Otherwise from Ilava to Bratislava not sure what to see there. Trenčianske Teplice is a nice little spa town. There is Čachtice with interesting castle ruins. But Bratislava is the most interesting. Bigger mountains more to the east of Ilava.
@@tommyandpeter we saw pics online from there and we think to go to village after we done the church. We got the number of a certificate so the person told us it will be easy to check parents, siblings, nephews and nieces, weddings, deaths, baptisations. Seems like a nice village, we made fun why on earth he left that for what he came too and if he knew how things would get screwed where he came for each of his kids, grandkids and great grandkids he would just stay there lol.. , The surname is literally variation of a village name, the person from church told us that majority of people from there have some variation, but back then who ever left to another country whole name and surname was literally translate and made as in that country. So Andras becomes Andrew, Andres, Andrija, Andrej etc. So variations for surnames from pružina are pružina, prušina ( coz sign up was by hearing), pružinac, prušinac, pružinec, prušinec. And in our case during time 3 variations were used, but proper one is from birth certificate, even thou later with his kids a changed to e...
