HEARTLESS IS SO GOOD. Also I never read fairest and was wondering if it's worth it? I know it's not her best work but should I still read it?

I just finished reading Fairest 10 minutes ago, aaand I know everyone’s got a different opinion, but for me it was 100% worth it 😗❤️ like it was super sad and infuriating and the ending kinda blew my brains out😆 That being said, would put it in good or we Stan

I LOVE HEARTLESS, I am not an avid reader honestly but I found the musical online and fell in love with Marissa Myers type of storytelling and read most of the lunar chronicles and loved them to death!
heartless is SO GOOD!! i still need to watch the musical, i've heard such good things about it! AHH i love that you love the lunar chronicles!! :')
I recently finished heartless and it was my first book that I’ve read that had somewhat of a tragedy at the end and I cried for like the last 50 pages because of Jest’s death and seeing Cath loose herself. That book just broke me💔
CRESS IS ON POINT, I absolutely LOVE the Renegades trilogy!

Cinder and Scarlet were incredible, and I assumed Cress would be on that same level, but you’re right it was actually even better! 😂 I don’t even know why, it was just so dang hard to put down
omg yes all the books in the series are so good in their own ways but cress just hits different!! hahaha it's too good!!
Heartless is my favorite book! And from that book, I read more of Marissa books i forgot how I came upon heartless, but it was from it I look more of Marissa books. It took me 3 whole days to stop tearing up about it and 1 week to have the courage and read a new world. The book was really good and bad at the same time. T^T
omg yes heartless is just so good!! it's also very painful so i totally understand why it took you so long to stop crying over it LOL it's so good! i'm glad you love it as well :)

To be honest for me, i lived Fairest. Looking at Queen Levana's backstory was interesting for me. Ofc we already knew Levana was horrible but this just explained how she got there (which is my favorite thing when it comea to villians, finidng out how they started) and i loved it.
yes i totally understand that! i definitely found it interesting to learn more about her and why she was the way she was in the main series! i think for me the reason it's not a fave is just because i love being with the main cast so much and i dont like levana LMAO but i totally understand what you mean!!!

i thought the same with supernova, i was a bit disappointed that the really valid criticism of the renegades fell flat at the end but i loved the trilogy anyways. also, cress and heartless definitely belong in god tier, my faves ever

I was scrolling through and found this video and I have read the whole lunar chronicles books and heartless, and let me just tell you, greatest investment EVER!!! I LOVED heartless but also was in tears at the same time, the whole plot and the events are just perfect!!

I mean, the Renegades made a dictatorship out of Gatlon. It was certainly an Authoritative Regime in which there was idolisation towards a group, no elections, military enforcement and recruitment, parading and important symbols, persecution and elimination of another group, no separation of Government branches literally they held all the power and faculties...

I’ve been meaning to do this too! I love making lists 🤣 and Marissa Meyer is one of my fave authors. This is awesome! I’m so excited for her new release. Heartless broke my heart, but it’s up there as my fave MM book (including Cress and Winter!!)

I both loved and felt meh towards Fairest.
lost in a booKCase yes same! like i enjoyed reading it the first time i read the series to get more of a backstory but now looking at the series as a whole it sorta feels unnecessary !
I like the video, watched it to see if I should invest any more in to Marissa Myers stuff. I do disagree with your list a bit on the renegades series rating. I would go: Renegades-god tier, Archenemies- we stand, Supernova-ok. But everyone has a different way of interpreting good storytelling. I’m off to pick up Heartless now! Thanks for the recommendation!

I only read cinder and I am wondering about in the next book it is gonna focus on scatlet but will cinder be there just a few pages or really like main side character aaand is Scarlett gonna be the only pov we see in the book or the books are getting crowded like scatlet has more pov but cinder is always there and she tells it too then cress comes she os main character but cinder ans scatlet is always there and telling the story with her?

I have most of her books(I think the only one I haven't read yet is the Karma one) and I have to say that I believe the Lunar Chronicles is the best of her works.
I liked Heartless a lot but the ending was so devastating to me the first time I read it.
I loved Gilded and am looking forward to the sequel.
The ones I liked least was the Renegades. I bought all three at once and I enjoyed them for the most part but the sheer stupidity displayed by most of the characters at a certain point in the third book was almost enough to make me quit reading it. The ending also dragged on a little too long so I skimmed through most of it. The ending plot twist was good at least.
Overall, she's still one of my favorite authors but so far I think she may have peaked with the Lunar Chronicles. Just my opinion. I hope she proves me wrong with her future books.
