That was very gracious of the conductor to actually step back into the violin section and let her be acknowledged without him. Most conductors do NOT do this.
Watch Celibidache; he did this all the time.The sign of a true gentleman.
Just watching her bow move.... The absolute control she has, how steady her hand is. The sound she produces is almost superhuman.

A bealutiful rendition of one of the most underrated cocertos. She did not rush the 2nd movement which is crucial. To me this is St. Saens' greatest symphonic works.

I wish I could feel the emotional rollercoaster she feels as she plays this. You can see it all over her face as she plays. Simply wonderful.

Camille Saint-Saënz's music is very intimate. CJK has the faculty of turning it into a gentle breeze that envelops and penetrates us. Beautiful interpretation of an extraordinary violinist.
Priceless performance by one of the best violinists today. Bravo, Ms. Clara-Jumi Kang. Kudos to the conductor and orchestra as well.

This is an complete interpretation by Clara. So beautiful, so romantic, absolute dialogue with Orchestra and conductor, and great harmony!!! I am totally mesmerized with this play. This Orchestra sounds like world top class by Clara and Bringuier.

브릿지나 사운드 포스트의 미세한 위치에도 예민하다는게 소리라는데, 댐핏을 그대로 끼고 하는건 영향이 없나???
사운드 포스트는 앞판 브릿지에서 나오는 진동을 뒷판 까지 연결해주는 기둥이라서 댐핏은 앞판에 뒷판으로 진동이 전달되지는 않을거에요 그런데 에프홀과 표면에 닿으니 조금 영향은 있겠죠? 그리고 그날 너무 건조해서 스트라디바리는 300년이 넘었기때문에 혹시모르는 크랙이 발생할수도 있어서 그런거 같아요 ㅎㅎㅎ
음악 자체가 아름답다는 문제에 관해서는 잘 모르겠다.
그러나, 클라라의 섬세하고 잘 정제된 소리의 표현은
어느 정도 이해할 수 있다.
클라라는 결코 어중쩡한 연주는 보이지 않는다.
그녀의 신중하고 조심스러운 연주 태도를
이 연주에서 발견할 수 있다.
훌륭하다, 클라라.
