Ed Bishop seemed like a nice guy.

Ufo was so good it inspired a pc game back in the 90s called UFO: Enemy unknown. Played it and loved it.

I remember so clear watching Late Night Late as a 14 year old, thanks for uploading

Yeah I was 13. Used to sneak up and watch it when my parents were in bed haha.

What great little interviews. David Vickery obviously knew what to ask each guest.
TVS definitely had the right idea for the overnight service. Amazing that you are just watching two people talking to each other with no camera moves or flashy effects.
    Thanks for uploading

I want to second that. I found this video really interesting. I was barely born when UFO was first shown so, like a lot of people, only got to watch it when it was repeated in the 80s and 90s and enjoyed it very much. Even now, it still knocks the socks off most modern sci-fi shows.

Thanks for uploading. I remember late night late well and with the interviews it felt quite intimate. Clever formula. Thanks again

Yes you are so right there too really of course. A shame that the other ITV areas then did not do so; also that you don't really have that sort of thing now then so too indeed?!

the central itv region "inherited" the atv franchise and seemingly with it the itc catalogue, so tended to show such stuff first - so ufo was shown again late nights in the summer and autumn of 1987 and was popular (someone in Wales would drive across the English border just to see it each week!) - those re-runs had no features like this though - nice

Although I live in the ITV London area-then Thames and LWT of course at the time-I do vaguely remember this being on TVS at the time too. Odd in a way, because although I live in Kent I don't remember ever seeing it though too?

I live near Dartford and may have seen it on a grainy picture from what I can vaguely remember; but as before our main area was London. I think it was and I guess is now too, that our aerial points to the Crystal Palace masts which is BBC and ITV London; whereas the other direction is Bluebell Hill in Kent which is BBC South East and what was then ITV TVS and now Meridian I guess so too.
