a little context for those who dont speak Greek and understand the lyrics : The song is a metaphorical dialogue between the motherland and the refugees, symbolized by a small, fragile girl named 'Asteromata' (a metaphor for hope, with eyes as bright as stars). The 'girl' reassures her beloved mother that, despite being separated from her, she is strong enough to endure the suffering, danger, and pain, and will never forget her. In the chorus, the mother weeps for her lost, precious child

    And the entry msg.
It is nice u appreciated the symbolism of the choreography, for me it was perfect, but ofcourse people that r not Greek might need a tiny bit more, let's see.

Thank you for your review. I am 100% certain that the staging will be finessed for the actual event. It will probably keep the minimalistic character and symbolic drama but refined and up the drama a lot.

I hope so! Maybe a better costume and some more, but not loads, use of the dancers. Potentially some ideas for the LEDs but also not too much.

The song is a sad, sentimental mourning for uprooting and separation... quite sad, dark and timeless world wide issue...
I think eurovision needs some times to host some genuine sad truths, that needs to be told...

Absolutely. Singing it in a national language makes it even more special.

Thank you for letting me know.
I did try my best to find out what the proper pronouncation is as I don't speak Greek at all. If you'd like I can go into more detail about how I tried to find out. I'll obviously try to do better next time.

Based on those two performances: I prefer her style of singing now. Those riffs and runs are impressive, but do get distracting for me when there's so many of them. Maybe that's her maturing as a performer, or maybe it's her having her own song now and not trying to make someone else's song your own- the way you do have to do on The Voice.
