I think almost every NF depends on the live performances. I'm very surprised that Klavdia is doing so much better than Evangelina in the betting odds. I'm very curious about the live shows for all of the songs

Ekstra totally deserves to do well but I agree with you that it probably won't. Poison Cake would certainly be interesting- keep Croatia's kind of alternative streak going.

John Stenersen plays various instruments, among them: nyckelharpa, moraharpa, and hurdy-gurdy. To me this looks most like the nyckelharpa, but I'm not sure.

Nyckelharpas have 4-6 strings apparently

I'm really glad that you enjoy Zjerm! That's the fun of Eurovision to me- everyone finding new songs they love. It is also my number 1 (of 2) for ESC2025. I don't understand basically any Albanian and didn't gather any of the lyrical content of the 30 FiK63 songs. Now that Zjerm has won- I do appreciate it more. It's growing on me. I also had placed it 24th but the differences between rankings, apart from the top and bottom few, were relatively flexible to me as 30 songs are a lot to rank based on 1 full listen. I don't have the time to listen to the songs actively more often than that when creating my rankings. As for it being the fan favourite- not in my circles. It was very high up on My Eurovision Scoreboard but Karneval was number 1. Same with almost everyone that I've spoken with and follow on Instagram. Clearly the Zjerm hype missed my circles but I'm so happy for Shkodra Elektronike! I'm really excited to see what the staging in Basel will be like as they both seem like very creative people.
