Greetings and salutations. Awesome weapons Wednesday. Trailing point karambit is Tight. The Morningstar is my favorite. Very fond of blunt weapons. And wow, Mel's got skills. U 3 take care and God bless. ☘️
This week I have to choose two. First reason is I've actually seen both beat each other. It all came down to who's fighting skills were better and who wanted it (to set things right) more. I choose the wakishazi sword and the karambit. The only thing you need to make the karambit to have a reach better than the sword in certain situations is a way to attach a chain and knowing how to make yourself move as well as the blade like you and the blade are one. If you ever have to actually defend yourself with a weapon against another and their weapon it will take brains and no hesitation to do what it takes to defend yourself, your loved ones, and your honor. That's just the way it is, that's reality.
Very well said, Tony! Those two were my favorites as well this week. And you are absolutely right that often it comes down to who wants it more. Have an awesome week, my friend!

Dude watching the controls on all the weapons, Jesus holy smoke! You are my Super Hero and Amanda you are his lovely side chick!! Love you guys all the way from Iceland! ;*
I have a synthetic sjambok that I modified to integrate with a boiled and hardened leather basket hilt that I got off an antique wooden practice saber, and I was pleased with its power and energy. But as soon as I'd received the polypropylene practice sword from you, I think I got an upgrade. Its reach is far superior, and hits just like my sjambok does, while being a bit more rigid, holding its shape better than the sjambok. Plus, the ball on the end is a superb striking surface, that would cause serious damage, let alone the striking surface of the length of it. A superb product!
Awesome, Jordan!!! I didn't realize you bought one of those rapier. That's so cool that you considered it to be used as a sjambok as well! Thanks brother! I really appreciate your support, my friend!
@@Karatemart And I appreciate all that you and Mel and Amanda do as well! The famous samurai Miyamoto Musashi would often use wooden boken instead of metal swords, for similar reasons as to why a polypropylene sword would be effective. Not to get too graphic, but they would pulverize bone, and not merely slice flesh, thereby rendering an opponent helpless to continue a battle. I remember a friend telling me that he and a friend were sparring once with the first-generation retractable light saber toys (that they don't sell anymore, likely for safety reasons), and his finger was broken by a direct hit from those hollow plastic segments, in their extended state. A polypropylene "blade" like on the practice saber would be a nightmare in that kind of scenario. Also, love to see the segment of Mel juggling all by itself. It would make a great Karatemart TH-cam short!
Yeah, I was really impressed by how easily those broke through the concrete blocks. I honestly wasn't sure if they would because they are fairly light. Have an awesome week, Kenneth!

Love the "kazoo" sound effect when removing it from "Archie", yeah, I gave the Wing Chun dummy a name. Kyle, Amanda, and Mel glad you're all together, you all look awesome.

Good show kyle, that wakizashi is awesome. Fun fact for ya in the edo period Samurai were required to carry a katana and wakizashi. But they’d hardly use them because without a good reason and eye witness showing your blade in public would result in life in prison or execusion.
