There was a Chinese mercenary who fought for the Russians who recorded his experience. What happened to foreign soldiers who didn't speak Russian was that they were put in front line Storm units and given frequent commands to attack and occupy. The casualty rate was extremely high in these units.

I wonder how many of these men will run the first opportunity they get, if I was them I would go to the frontline and surrender to the Ukrainian and disappear but knowing NK regime they would probably be holding their family back home hostage.
