The Crew 2 is a 2018 open world racing video game developed by Ubisoft Ivory Tower and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Was surprised how much better the handling was- just don’t get why there’s such an emphasis on the jumps when the cars drop like they are 100x heavier
yeah lmao the build up ends up being so anti climatic
That’s my biggest problem, the jump physic feels so anticlimactic, feels like something is smashing u in the air to get down
shit it’s more realistic than forza where you can fly 5 miles going 200mph over a tiny hill or drift a stock 8,000 pound F450 with ease like it’s a Supra people just hate crew physics cause they’re more grounded and you can’t fly halfway across the map from one ramp
@@labyssweet2173the thing smashing you down is the cars weight and considering you can’t strip cars interiors on motorfest to lose weight like you can in forza that’s another reason why the jumps are so weighed down they were going for realism with the jumps and people that still see it as “shitty physics” don’t understand how real life car physics and jumps work AT ALL

The one thing I've noticed so far is the movement of cars whilst revving the engine, something that was completely absent in TC2 but is a very real thing in actual cars

I really hope they get licensed customization one day,maybe in the next game. We need to be able to customize everything from the shifter nob,handbrake,lugnuts,the coloring of the tubes for turbos and intercoolers, i mean everything. It would truly bring the franchise to the next level i hope they can get some inspiration from car x drift or gran turismo the customization in those games are crazy.

the crew 2 had a very vast customisation so its probably possible
I bought Need for Speed Heat just because you can swap the engines and how they sound different and so gooood You can even alter the exhaust resonance and the forced induction!
Motor fest is like a playable version of the crew 2 cinematic from 2018
TCM has amazing car sounds already. I loved it myself when playing the insider and beta. Graphics look stunning and I enjoyed every bit of the game when playing it. I am waiting for initial release before it launches
The engine sound kinda reminded me to PROJECT CARS 2.

TC3 Motorfest really nailed it right now! As a diehard fan of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club and racing games in general, this is what we wanted. BRAVO UBISOFT AND IVORY TOWER!

I'll take it back on my opinion about TCM.
Physics feel much better than what I saw a month or something ago (although it's still arcadey with air control being much less believable than what San Andreas gave us 19 years ago)
But yeah, trees breaking down when getting hit at 10 mph really needs a patch and other than that, definitely an improvement especially that the steering wheel rotation being better than what FH5 has (which is by the way, much more realistic than the whole Crew series)

I just wish the TCW handling was better. I wish i could turn my car without doing ridiculous drift, seems like that car has no down force

The exhaust pop is still in the game, I'm guessing they forgot to add the FX for it lol.
Of course it's expected to be way better than TC2, since TC2 wasn't even top notch in terms of graphics, so yeah, homework done there... But since Motorfest was firstly supposed to be a DLC/expansion to TC2, don't expect BIG upgrades. Yeah the lighting is way better, giving off a much more realistic look, but geometry is still low, textures are still low, reflexes are a bit better but not really detailed. Overall it did have an upgrade, just not really that big
The biggest difference to me is all the breakable trees. Those and guardrails were annoying in C2
big thanks, I never played crew 2 or about it till right before I bought the full deluxe of Motorfest. I still love this game but I wonder what the map of the US will be like, I loved Need for Speed Rivals just for the map and lighting and daytime clock
the old car sounds sounded so electric and fake but the new ones sound a bit more realistic

I just hope there is a diffrent The handling and physics when driving it. as been a big "NO NO" from me the last 2 games. don't know if it's becuase i love the driving handling and physics in Forza Motorsport/Horizon feels more realistic and you getting the feeling that you control the car and not the game controlling your driving by having the car stuck on ground.
They really dont know how to make proper high resolution road textures do they..
Nice Comparison video. Ubisoft did their best but i think i still have to stay with Forza horizon. i might give this one a try in the future but Forza horizon is still way ahead on some certain features. The only part they did better than Forza is the Steering wheel full rotation animation and the window roll down driver's swag during burnout.

i was hoping for a "next gen" the crew game. But all i see is just better lightning and slightly better graphics... and that is just new console performance... everything else is just the same

In short with reshades you do better graphically it sucks usual old engine running at 60fps . Another flop from Ubisoft . Could have just made a dlc expansion of the map add dlc sound dlc textures . But passing off this horror as new just no . Lately I am seeing various videos usual physics problems also improved but little usual visibility rendering problem that you can not see at 1 meter in dark areas the usual black spot . By personal choice ononon I will never buy a game from this team again . bugs on bugs favoritism between staff and players .
Comparing the game which is a not final product with released game is completely pointless.
You think that they will change something before the release of the game. I think this is the final version, maybe some effects and optimization to do and that's it, and of course new cars will be added.
Can't wait for the contrarians to be like "The Crew 2 actually has better graphics" because if you played the beta, you'll know that it definitely does not

@Lightstone13 Forza, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Crew 2 had massive issues from online stability to the headlights not really working. It needed advancements. Still have the same 82 wheels that you can only paint 1 color... at least they added window tint.
This game is ready!!!!! Just need to fix the bugs for PC. Played the closed beta on Series S and had a blast. Left me thirsting for more. Sept 11th boys get your ultimate edition ordered ✅💯💪🫡
