    That was fun to watch Martin. I initially had a good laugh when you photo bombed your own picture but then quickly thought, as you did, that it came out quite well. My favourite overall was your final picture that you ended up cropping.
    I'm enjoying watching you work with such old gear... your process is at least as interesting as the end result.

    It's a magic! With any kind of camera, lens, film, and subject, photo becomes an art by Martin's hand!

    I agree with the comments below, I like the photo bombed one, This is why I like using my old camera collection, slowly and trying to be methodical abou it.

    Always inspiring, Martin. And yesterday, yes, I was pinholing, too, though not as daringly. Loved the self-portrait.

    not a photographer nor really even an amateur photographer at that. Had no idea what even pinhole photography was or is or that it had “an official day”. hahaha but this video came up and looked interesting so I clicked! Very cool. I now realize that, of course I have seen many photos like that over the years and being uninformed on the photographic arts, simply had no idea what I was looking at other than that I thought them beautiful photos. I am glad that I learned this today!

    Dein Video gibt mir wieder einmal eine guten Anregung für eigene Experimente.
    Vielen Dank aus Berlin

    Thanks for this, you have given me some inspiration to go out and experiment. I mainly do action/athletics and on-film set photography but have played in the past with pinhole adapters (on my dslr!). I am now planning an outing to some favorite places for some fun.

    Thankyou for another great video Martin. I used my zero image 2000 camera yesturday for pinhole day but didn’t get anything decent.

    Hi Martin another great video, I was wondering 2 things on your last picture, firstly did you have to crop it because the bubble level was in the shot : ) and why did you level the camera with a level in the first place as there were no straight lines to converge, just asking and not criticizing you do a great job, I struggle just taking pictures with out filming it and doing a running commentary like you do.

    • @martinhensonphotography
      @martinhensonphotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No the bubble level was not in the shot, I cropped as said in the video because I was not keen on the original composition,
      Leveling the camera gives me a good accurate starting point rather then just guessing, thanks for commenting

    Really interesting and good- what app are you using?

    • @martinhensonphotography
      @martinhensonphotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn't use an app in this video, if your referring to the charts they are just photos saved of them on my iphone, thanks

    Great video, Martin. I wondered about with my Titan 4x5 last Sunday. Do you sharpen your pinhole images?

    • @martinhensonphotography
      @martinhensonphotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the time no, on the odd occasion I will add a little raw sharpen in the Nik collection and that is hardly anything

    Hi Martin...do you happen to know if the zero image camera company is still in business? Their website acts defunct.
