CM Punk is one of the top 4 stars in the wrestling business today (along with Cody, Roman, and The Rock), and that, and also the crowd reactions he gets, prove it, and AEW fired him over some fights or insults.. Literally no other promoter ever in history would've even considered firing a guy like Punk over that. The proof is the shock of Cornette (a legit wrestling figure) back in his reaction videos about it, which anyone can go back and watch. Kahn firing Punk was so bizarre. There was definitely personal feelings or politics involved. That wasn't a business decision. Kahn also treated CM Punk so bad most of his run in AEW. He muted the CM Punk chants at that Chicago show during the Elite's entrance but kept the F CM Punk chants during the match unmuted, didn't put him on the video game cover (over a friken fight or some insults which have been done/said by wrestlers all the time since wrestling started), never mentioned him even once on any of the shows after he suspended him and acted like he never existed, publically acted like Punk didn't want to leave (Punk told him he quits after the fight with Jungle Boy) and it was only him/AEW who wanted to part ways, and didn't know if he paid for his surgery and rehab (or acted like he didn't know to I guess let the public know once again that he doesn't take him that seriously). That firing/disrespect of Punk (and his booking, among other things, which I can get into too) proves that he isn't a real wrestling fan, because no real wrestling fan would've done a wrestler like Punk (who's a legend) like that. He's a pretender. It seems like he's just in it for the money or to get attention. Tony is so petty he named his corporation Beat Nick because WWE lives rent free in his head.
Jim means Bucket of Blood not little shop. Corms. Classics. Daddy o
Beatnick Gage LLC.
Intentionally or inadvertently we finally have a reason to show that, Yes! Tony Khan does have a strong resemblance to Rock Moranis. After all these years. 🙌
Plays with his dolls like in Spaceballs.
I'm with Jim on this one. I am not sure if I could find them, but I have physical copies of all of "The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis" episodes/seasons. But, I always keep a digital copy on my PC's. People NEED to be aware/reminded that this show existed.
And Zelda was HOT.
@@aceldamia9114 The late great Character Actress Miss Doris Packer who Played "Chatsworth Osborne, Junior's Mother" was "Mrs. Wiley" on "The Andy Griffith Show." And Bob Denver who of course Played "MGK" on "Dobie Gillis" was the second guy to be "Dud Wash" in "Mayberry!"😂😉👮♂️👨🎓📺B.W.
When Edd Byrnes. was brought up, all I could think about is the episode of “Married With Children” featuring Anthrax with them singing “Kookie, Lend Me Your Comb” with Byrnes.
Hall of Fame art for this clip
Jericho's contract will be through WB as was Punks, Moxley and Stings
It's why khanye had to pretend punk was about to kill him to get him the sack
I thought Tony Kahn's father tries to look like Salvador Dali, maybe where the name comes from.
He looks like Captain Lou Albano in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!
Feed me!
Kool-brew ! Daddy-O
*Snapps the fingers* 👉
Jim knowing what BET is definitely wasn't on my bingo card 😂
Does anyone else thing “Beatnick” is an inside dig at their intention to “beat Nick Khan”???
Meltzer and WB Discovery have huge stakes in the company. Thats why both want it to succeed so badly. Unfortunately, it wont ever be better than number 2 promotion
I am 44 years old.
When I was a kid in the 1980s Nick at nite began and played all the old classic black and white television shows.
The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis was one of those shows.
Along with My Three Sons, Mr. Ed, Car 54 Where Are You, etc.
My father worked nights, I had insomnia since I was very young, and we had zero adult supervision throughout the 1980s.
Don’t forget F Troop!
I really enjoyed the patty duke show
See how Jim subconsciously likes Heyman, he's even seeing the Heyman song
Is Chaka Khan an investor?
Would've turned out better lol😂
Are they referring to beat Nick Khan🤔
15:26 for some reason i was expecting The Seeker by The Who but I Am the Walrus also works perfectly.
Shawn Michaels owned AEW last week. Boom!
Wbd could have several shell companies that have less than 10% stock in aew.
Sooner or later billionaires all get sued
And they always win
I have nothing against billionaires ...they earned their money leave them alone
@@Bls-of1ld No. It is all borrowed money.
I thought the sickos owned AEW
Shad is basically Frank Reynolds.
LMAOOOOOO
Be still, my heart... Audrey II?? 🥹
03:07 I think Corny was thinking of another Corman classic, "Bucket of Blood".
That being said, do watch the original "Little Shop of Horrors". It's a fun little flick.
15:42 *"S**t the f*** up *Donnie!"*
Is it BeatNick(Khan)?
So what you’re telling me…
Is that AEW’s parent company…
Did business…
With the Comic’s Unleashed guy?
I grew up watching Nick at Nite including shows like Doby Gillis. This video took me back to my childhood
The Beatnick movie was Bucket of Blood, not Little Shop of Horrors.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ric Flair conned his way into part ownership of AEW in real life like he did WCW in kayfabe.
Is flair even around??
Yes
He should've debuted like he did as WWE co-owner
Great artwork
Scooby Doo is loosely based on The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. Fred = Dobie, Shaggy = Maynard, Velma = Zelda, and Daphne = Thalia.
Meltzer owns it, he hasn't spent a penny but everybody there wants to be liked by him and Tony does what he says.
Melter has then all by the bawls
