Awe! I had no clue people were so anti-Jeremiah. He just seems to be such a sweet kid. Even with how he cared for Suzannah. Very in tune with his emotions and knows what he wants. What’s there to not like about someone like that? Also, I’ve been a girl who thought she loved one guy and needed up dodging a bullet because he wasn’t who I thought he was. So any advice to my baby sisters and nieces out there “choose the guy that treats you right, adores you and puts you first”. 🤷🏾♀️

First episode 5 shows how much Jere had matured over the past year and how he had no one to be with him when his mom was dying and he was taking care of her.
Episode 6. First Team Jeremiah Taylor song and it just so happens to be Jeni Hans favorite Taylor Swift song. Also, at the end when Belly was feeling her lowest point she saw Jeremiah and was walking to him because she knew he would be their for her in a way that Conrad right now can't.
Jeremiah is positive and a protector. Belly needs that kind of energy. He also knows what he wants and doesn’t shy away from it.

milo being a narcissist when stevens right there??? he literally was a puss that made taylor feel dumb last season, cheated on his gf, said taylor was a mistake, lied to his gf, got upset when his gf dumped him to have a summer in spain, and suddenly im suppose to root for staylor bc hes fixings his wrongs after taylor moved on and had a bf?…no bueno. stevens trash. jere gave him advice in s1 to fix but steven being unreasonable in s2e8…by now you know
Okay, I agree that Steven is light years from perfection. But for Milo to call Taylor’s friends “pedestrian” is super narcissistic. Steven is no Angel but Milo is new. He needed to tread softly. You NEVER talk down on someone’s family and friends. You already know how I feel about big head Steven. 😭 I won’t forget how he treated Taylor last summer and how he played Shayla. He’s definitely trash for that.
But Milo was a walking disaster. 🤷🏾♀️ If I had to choose between him and Steven, the choice wouldn’t be difficult.
So really quick on Jeni Han chosing Delicate for the first Team Jelly Taylor song. Taylor Swift herself explains that the song is about someone who currently has a bad reputation and just wanting someone real in her life and finding someone real. Someone to be in love with and see passed all of your bullshit and just sees you. During the time the song played Belly had a bad reputation and Jeremiah sees through all that bullshit and just loves Belly for Belly. This song is deeper for them on so many levels of you actually listen to it
Love this bit of “backstory”. I also feel this about Jere, season 1 he seemed to be carefree and was presented as someone completely different from season 2.
I 💯 agree. Jeremiah has matured so much over the past 8 months and I think Belly sees that. Think about it he was spending his senior year of highschool taking care of his dying mom with some help but not a lot of help.

Every time someone says that they’re team Jeremiah it takes every ounce of my body not to spoil the ending of the show (according to the books) to make them not team Jeremiah.
Even though Jeremiah is definitely gorgeous
But the writers of the show have the choice to change the narrative. Who knows where things end up. 🤭

ahhh so happy you are back!!💗💗not the scene of belly and conrad all emotional at the beach being cut out😭😭team Connie forever and ever, I stand by that! I’m sorry I just don’t see jere and belly as anything more than best friends and I don’t find him anywhere close to as mature as conrad, in fact I feel like he is very manipulative and childish. to start- he knew that belly and Conrad were in love with each other for the longest time- and he chose to insert himself into the equation knowing that his brother and her already had something. tried to keep them apart ( the firework and him telling Nicole to bring Conrad to that concert with her in season 1 knowing Conrad wouldn’t want to go). then when belly and Conrad finally do get together, jere is horrible to belly-and acts like a child for months not returning her calls and being rude to her and Conrad- then tries to spin it as belly “left/forgot” him when he was the one refusing to talk to her. Like he put himself into the situation knowing belly was in love with his brother, what did he expect was going to happen. Also, just look at the differences in reaction between jere and conrad when it comes to finding out belly was with the other. Conrad didn’t make a huge fit over Jere and belly kissing.❤and even this season, I just find Jere so whiny it irks me. Last point too, this entire season takes place literally in the span of the week. Belly goes from the first episode talking about her heart still physically aches for Conrad still and how she’s still in love with him, to totally being all about Jere a few days later? Sorry just don’t buy it, she’s in denial and trying to convince herself she loves Jere as more than a friend to distract herself from the fact she’s still in love with conrad- something confirmed in book/season 3! She’s mistaking the love she feels as best friend for something more. Her and Conrad are destined to be- okay rant over lol😂😭💗
Lmao! Okay, I’m my defense I cut out that last scene because I literally sat there mouth agape throughout the whole thing. 🤣 I get what you’re saying about Connie. But I think the weight he comes with is way too baby for Belly at her young age. He’s got lots of maturing to do and loads of trauma to unpack. While Jeremiah did ignore Belly, he did it because he gave his brother his blessing to date her. He also felt abandoned by his friend. Belly forgot to still be his friend although she was dating his brother.
The final scene felt so “classic Connie” and with Belly being under the influence it had me speechless. I think Jeremiah is the right choice for Belly right now. But that’s just me. 🤭
Totally agree with Joi. Conrad has to deal with his communication issues and figure out who he is. Jere had to grow up since he was basically the only one with his mom watching her slip away. Jeremiah always supports Belly, and helps her to be the best person she can be. Conrad couldn't even pretend to be happy at Belly's prom so she could enjoy the night. At this moment in time Jeremiah is what Belly wants and needs.
@kimberlyherff3374 she’s super blessed though. At least she has a circle of QUALITY friends and family to support her. And the same for the boys. I loved the way Steven stepped in to support Connie and check him on his highs and lows. I love that. 🙏🏽
