- This is an instructional video on using KHWW.net's Gridmaker to create cylindrical Turks heads. To follow along with the run list, please go to www.khww.net/gr...
My apologies if I've gone through this too quickly. Please see the other videos in my channel for additional examples.
Dude, you made the simplest video to make one of these. I was just about to toss my cord aside because I`ve been trying to make one of these for a minute and never got anywhere. Thank you for making this is so easy and simple, two thumbs up to you.Your video made a difference in my book. Many a thanks from Sterling Heights,Michigan.
I've been looking for a video on how to make this and this is by far the best video I've seen....u made it so easy to understand looking foward to using ur other videos too, ur awesome lol
Thanks, Aaron.

Do you have a video on finishing this knot? we mean on the same jig, finishing it, all the other runs, two more three more etc..? or did you just untie it and start another project with the paracord cool video too by the way.
Well, to make additional runs, you just follow where the line continues all the way through. When you think you've made enough runs (I usually stop at three or four; I think more is overkill; if you have to use more runs than that, you should probably start the knot with more leads in the first place), pull the pins out, carefully slide the knot off the mandrel, put it on the final piece, and slowly tighten. Begin at the start, pull a little slack out, then keep going all the way around the knot. If you take too much out at once, it won't come out straight. It should take at least three or four times around to pull all the slack out.

This link doesn't seem to be working And I think KHWW.NET is no more
How much cord
Can you do a tutorial for 5 bite on a mandrel
Can you show us a pineapple knots ? Thanks
Finally found a system that works for me. Thank you.
Do you have a tutorial for a 7x6 turks head for the heel knot of a whip?
Hey bro how do you get grid maker to generate gauchos? And can it generate herringbone interweaves? All I can get it to do is generate regular Turks heads
In the coding, instead of \/, use \\//. Also, use www.igkt.net/beginners/gridmaker.php
Same thing, but on a site that works.
what about herringbone? Any code for it?
Herringbones are interweaves, so there's really no code for it. However, I think this link should do it for you. freakinsweetapps.com/product/custom-ring/
As well, there's a paid program out there called Ariane that'll do pretty much any multi-strand knot, globe knot, or anything else you can think of.
Here's an image of some of the different types of cylindrical knots. media-cache-cd0.pinimg.com/736x/52/e6/93/52e69301c3341025569909acdae9bb91.jpg
Here I am, making a comment on a two-year-old comment. My apologies...I didn't really track this stuff well.
For gauchos, the coding is \\// instead of \/.
Knots Head World Wide has resigned their site and your link no longer works and I can't seem to find where they moved it to.
I have found another site that has the same kind of grid maker page. Its at the International Guild of Knot Tyers.
Yep, I've had to use it a couple of times.
I'm in touch with the creator of KHWW.net. The site is up, but Gridmaker hasn't been arranged on the site yet as far as I know. You can download it here, though: khww.net/file/all
Phillips Knotwork Yea I have that on my PC at work but at home I use a tablet to follow along. Not sure if it work as a offline web page.
Hey, John -- sorry for not having responded earlier. I'll try to put this on my to-do list today and get a video up for it.
Why make it harder than it needs to be.?! Pringle can! Ditch the thumb tacks dude!
www.knww.net/gridmaker don't exist
